Can You Bleach Your Hair at Home? Platinum Blonde DIY

There is so much that can go wrong and its actually easier and probably cheaper to get done in a salon. I only did this to see if I could do it myself and to be honest i'm pretty happy with the results!
If you would like to try it at home under the supervision of someone who knows what they are doing, then here is what you need;
30 Volume Developer
Wella Blondor Powder 2 X (30g Sachets)
OLAPLEX Traveling Kit (Optional)
Measuring Jug
Comb and Brushes
Non - Metalic Mixing Bowl
Ion Peroxide Crème Developer 3%
Matrix Colour Sync 10V
Matrix Colour Sync 10A
Purple Shampoo
Purple Conditioner
Rubber Gloves

It is true, I have dark blonde and tan skin (naturally) and light brown eyes and can’t pull it off. I thought I could but I ended up dying it brown at home (not all of it, just the roots and a little into the hair so it looked like a balyage) and the color faded into a caramel blonde/light brown and I am in love with it

The funny color is not due to the sun-in.. you started by bleaching the roots which is “virgin” hair- i.e. it lifts a lot faster. By starting the lifting at the ends and then going to the roots gives the ends time to get light as the roots will lighten much faster. This is why you got blond roots and an orange top at first. Skipping the roots at first would have saved you a second bleach and saved you from damaging your hair

Felipe Rocha To my knowledge hair lifts fastest at the roots do to heat being emitted from the head and virgin hair means unprocessed in any form; therefore, unless he’s dyed, permed or relaxed his hair before or used any other chemicals technically all of his hair is virgin...as sun-in contains hydrogen peroxide “a lightener” he’s actually correct in stating the sun-in interfered with the lifting process.

The thing that will take the color out your hair is sulfate purple shampoo has this try getting a sulfate free shampoo purple shampoo is just to keep your hair blond but you don't need to use it all the time

Interesting video. Your lucky to have thick hair and a handsome face. The eggy yellow stage is always a surprise before the toner is applied. It has come out a great shade but looks more sliver ash than platinum But Great. Keeping it up is a pain but enjoy. Your chum did a good job with your instruction in my opinion.

That's not why it's lighter on the sides... it's because it's closer to your head, your head is warm, it's called a hot shaft

The next time you bleach and tone your hair read the directions on the packages and then consult a professional hair colorist because your hair was not platinum blonde and you only needed to bleach once to get it to a level 10 before toning. None of you KZfaq hair bleachers should be telling anyone how to bleach hair because none of Its right!!!!!!

exactly and starting at the sides saying it takes longer to process is totally wrong esp when that hair is much much shorter and closer to the scalp. I dont get why he added water to his toner mix that was only 3%, if anything all that would do is dilute it more. It defo wasnt platinum blonde, those pics at the end were more him showing off his body... with a filter
