I really liked decor to the max. It has a lot of individual items that work well for fancy restaurants, wedding spaces, or just nice art reference items for sims to paint. I wish they offered CAS with extreme clothes for my celebrities to wear.

5:29 For those who don't know, when you tab F5 you can place items on a smaller grid (quarter tile I guess?), it works for wall objects too but I haven't tried it with cabinets, it should work tho (I only found out recently and now I can't live without it)

Decor to the max is definitely my favorite kit. I usually don’t put everything in one room, but the wallpaper is great for accent walls, the furniture is so fun, and the giraffe sculpture is probably my favorite clutter item in the game. That round wall hanging though, that can f right off and go to hell where it belongs 😂

Absolutely love the kitchen. Can vividly imagine Sims walking into the house from there and be like, oh, looks quite nice, just to be completely taken aback by the rest

I still have mixed feelings about the kits. I think some of them are actually really cool and are good as add ons. Though I think there should be a bit more items in them or that they just come with the base game instead of having to pay for it. Anyway, great video! I think the house turned out okay in the end lol

Personally I think all the kit items should’ve been base game and kits instead should be maxis max cc from the popular creators, bring in the community and acknowledge them. Of course the cc creators will get paid too for it.

@@Vendetta_s yess! I think kits would be so much better if the community got involved. Some creators are so talented and I think it would improve the game so much . And if the items in the kits now would just come with the game as a free update then I think people would like the game more.

Reminder that the cost of all the kits rn is £95. If you only count the build/buy kits, it's £50. Does this feel like £50 worth of content?

2:55 it looks like the Corona V more like. Hey now, that industrial bedroom looks good. Though it is more of my style. For some reason I like browns and woodsy decor, and that bedroom makes me feel cozy.

The industrial Kit was the only one which I bough immediately because I absolutely LOVE this style. It's hillarious that you hate it so much😂 and for me personally pastel pop kit is abomination... Sorry Plumbella!

I was so disappointed when I found out that Industrial kit does NOTHING for the industrial footprint. They totally named it wrong. Meanwhile they made a green kit full of plants, which is an awesome boost for green footprint. Got me even more puzzled why they didn't add industrial influence to the items in the industrial kit.

@@Firise The industrial kit was released long time before the eco pack. And they are just furnitures in industrial style, a industrial couch isnt polluting like a factory.

I really like the courtyard oasis kit too, but you're right that it just doesn't look right in most of the sims worlds. I don't have this one, but I can only assume that it could fit in well with the wedding pack. Maybe?

okey but that courtyard oasis kit came in clutch sometimes for this build with the tiles for the bathroom the walls in the kitchen and the fence outside so like it's build items were useful for this build challenge but uhh yeah that's it

I recently found out that you can change the height of mirror by placing them first and then using the buttons 9 or 0 to raise or lower any other object. Placing the mirror first is essential idk why I just found that out lol

I thought the kitchen didn't have a fridge for a moment. I think its also difficult to sort through the kits when i was searching for the deser lux one i couldn't filter it and it was annoying i only used some courtyard oasis stuff on my recreation of the sims 2 specter home because it suited the vibe i'm playing the sims 3 tbh, my s4 is broken and ive completely forgotten about it the sims 3 worlds are so much better, being able to place as many lots and wherever i want

I think it’s disliked by the “modern décor is best make everything beige” and “cottage core is best make everything faded” crowds because just not their style. Plus it tends to make a bad impression in kit reviews because people pull everything out at once. I haven’t bought it myself, but can see the value as essentially a collection of stand-out accent pieces. Meaning you use only one or two at a time! Or of course you just go for the busy overstuffed look, but that has a very specific time and place. 🤣
