I got sick and tired of that 'burping' water out my fresh tank..... sooo.... I made a small slit in the air hose (since it wasn't doing the job anyway) and now .... no more burping. I put a small bowl underneath to catch overflow. It used to take a long time (30 mins) to fill my freshwater, now lickity-split .... done. i sure like that drill water pump for my new project! Thanks for sharing. Remember ... smile & be Brave :)

Suggestion: Make solar panel covers for hail days. I watched hail damage on the thousands of Texas solar panels.

I saw someone make a car cover out of those $1pool noodles for hail for a car. That's what I'd try for the solar panels. Run rope through them and you can roll it up to store it.

That’s a good idea but he’d need to be home when it happens to run out and cover them. Maybe invent a hail detector that automatically covers panels when it detects a certain size of hail. It’s probably not cost effective. I would just buy new solar panels if mine get hail damaged. I bought my 240 watt used PV panels for $46 dollars each from SanTan solar.

It looks like it is still winter there in Concho Arizona. You can have it, we don't want any more winter here in Michigan. The woof pack looks real good with Dexter as the new addition. All of the other dogs appear as they are getting along well with him. He sure is itty bitty. Glad the pump you ordered works well. Maybe the snow you currently have will all melt away and your winter will be gone too real soon. God bless you and the woof pack. And stay warm. ❤

Pex Pipe is the BEST for cold weather! We had a plumber take out our busted PCP pipe water lines under our crawl space in our house before winter…No Problems this year here in NW Arkansas when it got below ZERO for several nights in January!👍🏻

I'll never forget what you told us about Tucker swimming toward the middle of a lake/pond and he kept going. You had to go in and retrieve his butt.

We have this type of pump on a stick and also slightly larger that sits on ground, love them both!!! Great for emptying hot tub and rain water collection tanks. Ours are the Milwaukee products. I would probably filter it a little further if putting in my RV though. There are several simple filter tank designs out there. Hugs all around

FYI if you notice on your water fill cap right there off to the lower corner is that tiny little hole that is a vent tube for the tank. Check it out and see if it’s plugged

Back some 45 years ago, I purchased a similar pump, not as nice, but a drill driven pump. I used it to pump oil out of an engine pan that was hard to drain. Worked like a champ..

Is the vent a few inches above the tank? I remember having that issue with my travel trailer years ago. Maybe drill and install a fitting with a short hose to raise it above the tank. Thanks for sharing your life with us.

May not work for you but I always had good success by putting the hose down to below the water level to fill water tank up. Just sayin.

If I was going to get water out of a pond or lake, I think I would take a 5 gallon bucket and drill lots of holes in it and sew a cover to fit over the bucket in order to give the water another layer of water filtration. It might prevent the little filter from stopping up

Brave little Dexter! I bet if Tucker goes in he will follow and of course we hope he knows how to swim. Sort of like winter does not want to give up. Hoping soon for those warmer days. Will be fun to see what all you take on and share with us. Some new property and what your plans may be. That water wagon will definitely be helpful.And a 3 wheeler and a small trailer to pull and carry debris and such back and forth. Good plans

that pump is a great find.. I'd grab another one and use it for gasoline transfer in a SHTF situation. spray some paint on it to keep them seperate. The Woof pack looks great. God Bless

My nephew just stopped Bye and watch this video with me for a second time. He has used the same Pump to pump up hill to a horse pasture and it did not work unfortunately not enough power I guess that's my uneducated guess LOL.

It’s sooo complicated to live in a cold place! I had no idea really until I started watching these video’s. I had never considered the changes that freezing does and then I watched Fred Dunn and found out about underground water and what happens in houses where they need pumps for ground water collection from the basements of homes. I have always lived in the tropics or sub tropics and was totally ignorant.
