Sn = a (p^n - 1) / (p - 1) a = 4^1.5 (first term) p = 4^1.5 (ratio, ie. 4^3 / 4^1.5) n = 5 (number of ekement) 4^1.5 = (2^2) ^1 .5 = 2^3 = 8 So. Sn = 8 x (8^5-1) /(8-1) Sn = 8 x (32768-1) /7 Sn = 8 x 32767 / 7 Sn = 262136 / 7 Sn = 37448
