It's such good gear makes a great bond and stronger render plus more waterproof can't be a bad thing but more next week on the top coat 😀

Absolutely excellent again mate!. Got some small projects in the pipeline for when the weather gets a bit better!. Learning lots here, 3 to 1 for your scratch coat, what’s the ratio again for your topcoat?… Thanks!.

Shh dont tell no 1 as its in the next video next Sunday mate buy on the most we do 3 to 1 then top 4 to 1 it is possible to go weaker but the mixes i use have never failed me yet (touch wood ) Thank you for the support mate

I used hb12 on the one I did,more expensive but worked a charm 👍🏻

Hb12 1 of the best about when comes to base coats would still sbr it also tho. Hb12 sticks to everything great for a tight coat.

Sbr using 1 of them pump spray bottles seems to work well

Yea a company said they where sending out a few to try and test ect but still use the trusty roller :)

@@macplastering It’s the spray of roller annoys but am a bricky tho lol. Spray bottle sure doesn’t work well nice cheap 1 £10-£15 just leave the stuff in it some need to pick hard glue of end sprayer have a nice stihl pump bottle but that won’t be getting glue in it just water lol. Right handed here was just thinking a go left to right in render they that’s the way go skimming right to left with cement of right handed. Dashing always come from left over hand back hand mostly. 🤟

Yes mad how so many plasterers and renderers will do things different most will actually say its wrong to do it this way and that but then cant give a reason why its wrong or why its better to go a different way like you again the thing is whats most comfortable for the guy laying it on and is he pushing the pressure needed and not trapping air ect

What if the paint is relatively fresh? Are the holes in the block still enough for a good key, if the paint hasn't gone into all the holes?

I would still try bond it some way to be safe Ash as you don't want it blowing off the holes are great bond to thought this job was done sone time ago and has came up very well with this method

@@macplastering I have a grinder and diamond discs. I was thinking of maybe just cutting a bunch of shallow grooves. It's just annoying and loud and dusty to do :d

@@ashscott6068 yea it will be but sounds like a great idea to help key it in harder work but long term possibly the best way
