At Aikido Rakushinkan, you can practice not only Aikido, but also ancient martial arts such as Daito-ryu and Asayama Ichiden Ryuijutsu, and connect it with the rationale of Ono-ha Itto-ryu and Mugen Shintou-ryu Iaijutsu to create the ``Kenju Ittai'' technique. Based on this idea, we practice with the aim of ``aiki that can break the opponent's grasp from a place where they are seriously holding on,'' rather than just a formal and beautiful practice.
Aikido is a martial art where you face yourself, with no competition and no winning or losing, so everyone from children to the elderly can enjoy learning it. We hone our techniques not by relying on arm strength or explosive power, but through breathing and relaxation.
