I don't like the fact that the bosses just stop taking damage. I get the player needs to lose there, but give a unique/rare cutscene where the other 2 show up and get the jump on you instead of punishing skill with an invisible boss

Hey guys I just got here after googling how to avoid prison, what is a Jedi?

I love how the video doesn’t waste your time with “make sure you like and subscribe” BS, but instead shows you right away with clean, tidy and nice looking camera shots and display. The video has nice, calm music that fits the gameplay and information that stays relevant to the topic. More videos should be like this

Fun fact I've just discovered by accident: if you have a fully-upgraded Force Push, and you go into the ice caves, and you're quick enough on the draw that the bounty hunter hasn't entered their combat stance yet, you can push them off the edge of the map. I would've thought this was prevented by the ray shield but it very much is not.

It would’ve been amazing if the developers had a feeling someone would somehow skip the bounty hunters so they just put Darth Vader to stand in front of the ship to ensure you don’t escape that planet. (Idk why people are taking this literally and logically and commenting “that makes no sense”. It’s just a dumb and silly little Easter egg idea, of course it won’t make sense.)

One thing I will say about the prison scene is that we get to hear that awesome song from the opening scene of the game again and it makes us look like an absolute badass while we're killing all the creatures he throws at us.

It's actually really easy to avoid prison, step one, get to the bounty hunter, step two, rage quit before prison

I did this and found that if you do get caught just quit to the title screen and that come back and it should put you at your last meditation spot

That prison sequence *IS* pretty fun though as you get to mix a couple of annoying creatures *&* the bounty hunter who captured you

Very informative, well edited video! Unfortunately I've already passed this roadblock and I am currently on my second visit to Kashyyyk. I've also realized that we use the same droid skin, mantis, outfit and lightsaber crystal. 😁 Keep up the great work, definitely earned a sub 👍🏽

In my first playthrough I was captured by the jet pack bounty hunter, I didn’t even know there were more

Incase your wondering, you can also make the Trilla final bossfight super easier. You will need to: Do not fully go inside the interoggation room or else the door will close behind you. Go until the wider part of the platform stretches out. Do not go any further than that. Next force slow her. This will trigger her to come towards you. Next step outside the room. She won’t be able to go outside the room, so just attack her. Do not go far from the entrance or the door will shut. When her health is low, and your sure you can take her without dying, fully go in the room and let the door close behind you or else when you beat her the game will glitch and you won’t properly win. Just dodge her ground-slamming attack.

I have to be honest, I feel like they chose a weird middle way by giving you technically unwinnable fights against the bounty hunters. With how detached the whole prison break section is from the general story (like, the whole thing seems to be there just so Respawn could bolster the playtime a little) they could just as well just made it completely optional and make the fights winnable. On the other hand, if they insisted you fighting it, I feel like it would have been easier to just have a quick cutscene (for instance in the imperial facility) where Cal gets taken out in an ambush or alternatively make the fight winnable, but when you move in for the finisher a short animation plays where you get shocked. I don't think unwinnable fights as a plot device are always bad but in this case there's no point and it feels kind of clunky. I mean, a good unwinnable fight serves to build up your opponent as someone way more powerful than you currently are, ideally to set up a later encounter where you are gonna kick their ass, thus illustrating your growth and gain in power. But we are not talking about special enemies with relevance for the plot here but instead some random-ass bounty hunters and the only reason you can't beat them is because the game wants to do some kind of transition to you being in that prison. Rather than just forcing you to lose a fight that is not even that difficult, I'd much rather just see Cal get taken out using some unfair means.

There's another way into the Ice Caves. If you go to the Withered Monument, you can go all the way back to the Windswept Ruins. There's a way into the ice caves through there. It's the path I've taken the last 3 times I've skipped the prison sequence. Also, with that last bounty hunter, you can get close enough to pull those crates to you without setting off the trap. Use those to push the bounty hunter away. Then, walk close enough to set it off, and use force pull to dump them off the ledge. The second part of "Can you beat Fallen Order without a lightsaber" details this quite nicely.

Honestly the fight after you break out of prison is one of my favorite segments in the game. It yanks you from the story and is so shocking

i think it's interesting that the dialogue on kashyyyk changes (cal asks about saw and mari tells him that he's not there anymore) but the game still plays the relevant cutscene afterwards. you'd think there'd be no dialogue differences and the cutscene, or dialogue differences and no cutscene. not both
