accidentally starting an elevator that takes forever to reach its destination

My pet peeves were: 1) highly inconvenient meditation spots 2) long respawn timer when killed by an enemy 3) enemies can disrupt your attacks but you can't disrupt theirs (unless you use the force)

My first encounter with Ogdo, was actually in a very civilized manner. The great frog approached me and in polite tone remarked: "Excuse me, sir, but it would appear that you dropped something". In the same polite manner, I responded: "Why, thank you, kind sir, but I do not see anything. What it is that you claimed that I have dropped?" After these words Ogdo smiled: "Your ass, sir. Let me hand it back to you!"

Me after running away from the Ogdo Bogdo and coming back a few missions later: My powers have doubled since the last we met Bogdo.

Oggdo Boggo was a hero he was trying to save us from the pink poncho

Reaching the Mantis on Dathomir is pretty easy for me. It's Zeffo that is so damn difficult to find your back. I was just glad I was abducted by a bounty hunter and getting rescued felt like a shortcut back to the Mantis.

When it comes to getting back to the ship, I don't actually mind having to run back. The biggest problem is getting lost along the way, we need a waypoint system in Jedi Survivor

I hate it when im doing parkour and Cal decides "Oh im just going miss that swing for the next 3 tries

No lie, my friend and I spent an HOUR taking turns just to beat that motherfuckin ogdo bogdo or whatever it’s called. Realized 45 minutes in that you didn’t have to beat it for the story but by then it was personal.

I’m a bit surprised that the zeffo map wasn’t on here. I’ve heard a lot of people complain about how complicated and hard to get around it is and i whole heartedly agree

So I didn't struggle that hard with anything, I mean I died a bunch of certain bosses but I made it through. The WORST PART, THE HARDEST MOB, was definitely the little red rats that came in groups of 5 or 6. I hated those things so much.

I feel like it literally takes forever to respawn.

Opening underwater crates... the crates animates as if BD-1 jumps in but he’s staying on my shoulders. Bugs me more than it should.

They should have landing pads at some places in the game so u can call in the mantis to them. Would be really nice

I feel like the animation for healing that screwed up almost all my boss fights in my first playthrough. I think that’s more frustrating than the spiders or the easiest Legendary Beast.

The wildlife is deadlier than every type of stormtrooper combined.

Seems like no one else has picked up on the underwater chest animations, where BD1 stays on your shoulder whilst rummaging in the crate.

For me the sliding sections have been most annoying. Just the lack of control and sometimes just not making jumps when it felt more like the games fault than lack of my skill

For some reason, most of the monster type enemies in this game are designed in rounded shapes, like the giant frogs and spiders, makes it really difficult to spot when they're whirring up for an attack. I can deal with Stormtroopers easily enough but the giant bugs...now I know why people are afraid of spiders.

Those damn rats on zeffo were annoying. Not that they were hard, just that they would pop out of the ground and deal damage

The thing that I hate the most is Cere’s eyes... they’re huge and scary

You forgot one more thing, this game is great for gamers who like solving puzzles. If you don't like puzzles this is not the game for you. I expected more fighting the empire instead of puzzles.

Navigating Zeffo to get back to your ship the first time is my biggest peeve because you’re forced to go down into the ice caves to access three elevators that annoyingly can only be used to go UP.

Me coming back to Oggdo Bogdo at the late game: “We meet again, at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but a learner. Now, I am the master.”

I’d like to add to the point of killing your last enemy to get your XP back. I hate how the target is glowing yellow. It hides the unblockable red power move of the enemy if it immediately attacks you in that way.

It makes me happy knowing I'm not the only one that struggled for an hour defeating a giant frog

Just hate the fact that it takes me 2 hrs to finish a mission. 45 mins to get the job done and the rest trying to find my way back to the ship

Can I just say the most annoying thing is when the enemy is glowing yellow and the do an unblockable attack and you can’t see the red glow

Getting back to the Mantis is realistic, but I wish it meant traversing new territory.

Something i really dislike (or missed?) is the lack of loot. Like all you get is lightsaber parts (which is cool) and poncho colors. At some point i didnt even bother getting the poncho loot. I wish i could wear some jedi robe, armors etc.

What about that one cutscene where the pilot is putting salt on his food for literally the entire conversation

When you get attacked by 5 people at once and can’t even get up or escape

I remember when I was first exploring Kashyyyk, and got jumpscared tf out by the big spider. I think I had a heart attack. And then I went back after I finished the game and still got jumpscared.

I've 100% grandmaster difficulty no damage runned this game a couple times, and I can say for certain, the little rats are the strongest mini-bosses in the whole game

The most annoying thing *HAS* to be how long it takes to respawn. Also, I have a PS4 and the game *NEVER* lags out, unless I enter a new area on an elevator.

Ok but the worst thing is killing off the whole map and forgetting that resting restarts all of the enemies

I’m hoping that Jedi: Survivor has bigger maps to explore but also add some form of fast travel

Okay I agree so much with number 10 like I spent an hour trying to find the mantis on the second mission (I was stuck in the first tomb for most of the time). I also went to dathomir right after and I spent like 5 minutes there before saying “I’m out” I think the big spiders on kashyyk are the worst enemy tbh

When I jump to grab a rope and Cal decides he’s just going to jump right passed it and not grab the rope

The thing I absolutely hated were those damn Shock Troopers. I always get so frustrated fighting them I just Force Slow then roll behind and Super Force Push them off cliffs. Literally the only enemies I hated in the entire game.

I went to Dathomir immediately after Bogano because it sounded cool. But I didn't have double jump so I could only clear it till I reached the Stranger. But luckily I got my hands on the dual lightsaber and that made the game even more fun.

I hate when I die I'm rewarded with a 10 min loading screen (on ps4 at least)

BD-1: *Jumps into a crate for the 60th time* Cal: “WHOA WHAT? HEY!”

I fell into Ogdo Bogdo's cave the first time I played, panicked, and beat him. It was terrifying.

My first Ogdo encounter was on accident, I was on my way back from the vault and I accidentally fell down the hole and it scared the sh*t out of me 😂. Was very careful since but since I was just beginning it was a real pain

The crate shakes underwater even when bd1 doesn't go in it

Not Enough force power, or not being able to recuperate it quick enough.

In regards to the crates animation one thing I noticed on a recent playthrough was the fact that the crates still rock like BD went into them even underwater and he's clearly on Cal's back.

When youre underwater and bd-1 "jumps in a crate" its actually bugged and the crate magically rocks back and forth as if hes in the crate when in all reality hes still on your shoulder.

The undead Nightsisters on Dathomir are my least favorite enemy type in the game. There's always way too many to effectively handle at once, especially if you're low on Force.

A good thing it's that the game gives you tips for defeating enemies, like for the ogdo you can use force pull and cut his tongue, or for the nydak on dathomir if you parry 3 attacks you get an insta execution

I don’t like spiders, they’re fluffy, ugly, irritating, and they get everywhere

Things I hate: 1- the crappy sliding mechanic 2- getting back to the ship 3- the confusing Holographic map 4-Graphic glitches and bugs

I could see Ogdo bogdo being hard for a new player, the regular frog guys gave me trouble when I was new and I was playing on Jedi master. After my first play through though I was really good. I only had 3 stims and beat trilla. Second play through I did Jedi master again and got even better to where I can beat bosses without taking damage but some of their moves can still get me so I can’t do it 100% of the time. 3rd play through I beat on grandmaster mode and the enemies do a lot of damage but the combat is easy for me at this point after playing it so much. Ogdo bogdo gets his cheeks clapped.

7:38 what i hate the most about losing XP is not the losing part, but that golden glow the enemy gets, specially when it's a boss. a lot of times they try an unblockable attack, and the only way to know is when they glow red, WHICH DOESN'T HAPPEN WHEN THEY'RE GLOWING GOLD!!!!!!! so a lot of times i get hit solely because of a design choice. might be nitpicky (yes there is an audio cue but it's almost indistinguishible from background SFX) but i think those little details are important when you are making a combat system focused on timing and giving you visual cues.

Who would win? A young Jedi trained by experienced masters, growing stronger in the force every minute, and knows a good deal of lightsaber dueling. *or* Giant frog boi

Fun fact: there is a slight fast travel only in kashyyk you find the Shyyo bird in the origin lake and you can interact and go back to the meditation point

I’m anxious to see what powers and abilities we will get to learn in the upcoming game.

3:14 - actually - Cal is playing 4d chess by wearing the poncho - the first thing that stormtroopers are going to remember, the first that the probe-droids are going to focus on....is that stupid poncho. Not his red-head, or the fact that he wields a lightsaber

5:00 Also regarding the crates: it's so dumb/weird how when you open an underwater crate, it still does the shaking back and forth animation like BD-1 is in there (like he does in surface-mounted crates), but he's just chillin' on your shoulder underwater. Idk if it's a glitch or intentional, but it's still funny.

Apparently I'm alone in hating Cal's ability to properly aim his jumps - I've died a hundred times jumping out on a rod and landing next to it instead. Now I have to reconsider whether it's really Cal's aim or mine.

Number 10 for sure. With all the slides and crap sometimes I just get frustrated and stop playing for a while because trying to piece together a way back to the Mantis is a PITA

Trying to get out of the Zeffo Tombs is a pain in the ass, it took me atleast an hour for both :/

I had to go out of my way to find a dark cave where a giant three eyed rat one shotted me. Love this game!

So, it's just me that never died to that frog monster? His attacks are so telegraphed and you can parry his bites (not the red ones of course)

One thing I hate: It ends! I want more RESPAWN DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB!

1. How long it takes to respawn 2. Not being able to pick a character 3. Not making it easier to return to the ship after completing a mission 4. Controlling where Cal goes when going down a slide 5. Merrin actually not coming with you on missions after she decides to join And the absolute worst...the fact that the game ended and doesn't go on forever

Those giant mini-bosses on Zeffo are super annoying. I also really hate those robots or getting stun-locked into getting my ass whooped. Like, Cal gets knocked down, and then as Cal's getting back to his feet, the enemy attacks again and knocks him right back down.

I actually really liked the idea of going back to the mantis with no fast travel. If anything, some level designs might have benefited from more shortcuts and direct routes. I would have also argued they should have put the ship towards the middle or directly/easily accessible from the middle of the map. IMO, Zeffo is the best designed map (although definitely not perfect)! My biggest complaints is the force being soo limited. Like a single use unless you damage the enemy with light-sabers? Annoying…

The game doesn’t last long enough. Also, Merrin needs to be in the game more.

After finally unlocking all of my force abilities, I thought the game was about to begin. It ended shortly after.

I hate that Cal can't do things normal human being would do in a situation. Why can he climb on a crate in one place, but not another? Why does he sometimes just walk off the edge of a cliff? Why does he let go of a rope he has just grabbed? Why does he not carry a pistol or a rifle for dealing with non-sentience predators or plant life at a distance? Why does he not have those grapple things that are so common in Star Wars to allow him to climb safely? Why does his lightsabre not cut through doors? Lucy Wilcox at the University of Leicester calculated that when Qui Gong went through a blast door with his saber, the power output was around 6.96MW, meaning no door Cal encounters should stop him if he chooses to open it with the saber.

My main issues with the game is the boss fight on Dathomir when on normal difficulty he just wipes your health and he has more unblockable attacks then blockable

in skyrim there was always a door at the end of the quest that led u to the beginning of the map without walking the whole way back.. i definitely miss that.

Finally started playing this game because I usually am super behind on games and often it's kinda nice because the bugs have been worked out by the time I get my hands on a game. But, for me, outside of the goddamn spiders and the super aggressive rats, the most frustrating thing for me is some of the platforming. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes I feel like I've definitely hit the right mark and I'm like right where I think I need to be to land a jump or grab a rope or vine wall and I miss. Oh, yeah, and stopping the goddamn spinning gears at the right time. It's small, but I wasted so much time just getting the gear stopped at the right spot so that I could jump through the hole. Ugh.

I loved seeing Jerome Valeska in the video because whenever I play fallen order I just pretend Jerome became a Jedi instead of the Joker and that's why I use the pink poncho

I wish it had navigation, like i can click the ship and see how to get back instead of trying to figure it out

My least favorite thing is the absence of a stealth type mode or attack other than the attack from above. Jedi are masters of stealth and we see it a lot in the movies so why do I have to charge in to every battle? Why do I have to face every single stormtrooper head on.

My main critiques of this game: -I absolutely hated the purge troopers. Even when I switched to Story Mode, they were a nightmare. -I despised the sliding sections, especially when the checkpoint puts you back on the slide instead of before it so you have no time to chill or go somewhere else -I hated just about all the puzzles, especially that stupid ball puzzle. Most of BD-1's hints didn't help a single bit. -The fact that the game doesn't tell you which paths are mandatory or optional. I kept finding myself finding multiple paths, going down one path first thinking it was an optional path for collectables, and accidentally finding the main path which made me miss out on whatever I would've found. -When I was trying to 100% the game, there were some sections where I had everything but the game still didn't consider it fully explored. I had to look at comments of guide videos to find them. -The fact that parkour fails take away some of your health (if I remember correct, that was fixed in Jedi Survivor). -The fact that the map isn't very clear on where crates, databank entries, and secret bosses you haven't found yet are. -This is just a little me thing but I still hated it. I kept going through one section and dying/ having to restart without saving out of being unlucky over and over again and going down a very long path to it because the save point is very far away. Edit: After replaying the game with increased difficulty, I just discovered a few new things I hate. -Animation cancelling. Sometimes, I'd be ganged up on by enemies and lose health. I'd naturally ask BD-1 for a stim. However, for some stupid reason, if Cal gets hit or even moves too much, it's cancelled and he doesn't get healed, usually resulting in him dying. Why do I have to let the animation happen to get healed? I literally press the button for request and Cal says a stim line but it doesn't work because I get hit. Even if the animation or line is interrupted, I should get healed since I had stims left and pressed the button. - The stims weren't the only thing with that problem. Sometimes, I'd go in for a stronger lightsaber attack but I'd get interrupted because it takes longer than regular lightsaber attacks. I wouldn't mind that as much if you got to keep some of the force from the failed attack. -I also didn't like that (some of) said stronger lightsaber attacks could be blocked/parried by enemies. I figured that those attacks would be my own red unblockable attacks because of how all the other enemies had that and it'd be nicer if they'd all be like enemies' red attacks. -I wish we could run or at least walk faster when on the Mantis and also skip cutscenes. -I also would've liked if the game had fast travel. Thankfully, Jedi Survivor does.

I was perfectly fine with facing Ogdo Bodgo repeatedly, but that puzzle with the ball behind the bars at the start of Bogano was the bang of my existence

I love the fact they dont have fast travel. I dont save in-between objectives. So fighting your way to your goal. Then walking back in that barren wasteland you have created by massacring everything in your path is fun. Plus i can find stuff i overlooked while i was giving in to the darkside

I’m surprised you didn’t include the long ass loading screens, and by that I include not only the black screens but also the elevators and the stretch passages.

I'm playing the game right now and my personal 3 are: 1. No fast travel (really, i have a tone of games in backlog, don't wanna waste time on constant running) + the map is pretty lame, 2. Experience loosing system (not a fan of Souls and sometimes it can be done in such a bad moment, just before new skill point :( ) 3. Every single thing in Bogano hurts (even those crabs deal significant amount of health before you figure out how to deal with them) - stormtroopers don't count :P Just 3 right now, because I haven't encountered goats nor spiders, so still got plenty ahead of me, cheers!
