This has by far been the coolest and most awe inspiring series I've ever seen. I can't wait to see how Heavensward goes. I have a feeling Dark Knight might make an appearance, considering Blackest Night is so dang good.

Physically jumped out of my chair when you brought Ultima down, this episode gave me chills. Love what you've done so far and wish you all the best for what's the come next

this has to be THE best gameplay series i've seen in recent memory, if not ever. It's always a delight to see the ways you overcome challenges and basically play ARR "as intended" with all the crafting and such, "back in my day we didn't have all the modern QoL additions!" -- as usual, can't wait to see more and will follow the streams, too; so much fun times!

In my own personal experience, Wanderer's Palace is horrifically unbalanced when you're solo. I went in as a 80+ paladin and I was using gear from Aurum as part of a 'dungeon gear only' challange. Wanderer's Palace killed that challenge run because he just hits so freaking hard. I didn't have the willpower to keep grinding the first two bosses for armor drops so I could go to an easier 50 dungeon for higher ilevel to come back to fight him.

My heart is so full!! Gosh the end made me tear up just like the stream had. What an absolutely incredible and hard earned journey! Solo not only inspired Eorzea but invigorated a whole player base to take up the challenge and experience this game in a new light. So so many congratulations are at hand💙 Thank you for letting me (and the rest of these gamers) be a part of this finale. Honored to bee's knees and paint a very dashing Scion :) Onward to the Heavens! Wait, what do you mean there's a big moogle in the way? Can't you just ask him to politely move? No?? Wha--

This has been a joy to watch, I was planning to replay MSQ on 7.0 as blue mage, I would also add some restrictions to make the class feel less "overpowered" and hopefully give a feeling of a legit, non limited job when going through the content. I was planning to be recording this progress and turn into a series since I never covered anything SQEX Related in my channel, despite having about 3 or 4 usernames that were related to Square Enix franchises. Anyway, point is that your series has rekindled the flame to pursuit this challange when the time comes. After all, your solo challange was taken to a whole new level and so far with all the hurdles you made it possible. My idea should be more simpler and way less ambitious than your solo run but it should be fun either way. Always good to see new, inventive ways to play games in a way they're most likely not supposed to.

Such good editing and narrating! I love the series so far, and while I normally multi task during KZfaq videos, I put everything aside for the final fight. Love hearing about all the different aspects: food, crafting, maxing substats, weird boss strats, potion use, etc.

Appeared in my KZfaq recommends, thought this was covering the whole playthrough. Didn't realize it was a series! I'm gonna need to go back and watch from the beginning, because seeing all the prep you had to do just to clear Castreum was fascinating.

I remember watching the Ultima attempts at work and almost screamed out loud that night. Luckily no one else was in the office anyway. But I am so excited to see more. Love catching the streams but these videos are great too.

Your editing in general is fantastic, but the choice to sync up the Ultima theme with your final pull was PERFECT - I genuinely let out a cheer when you pulled him in time with the beat dropping. I see that the next video in the playlist is titled "I ruined my ff14 challenge" which is a bit ominous, but regardless of how that goes, I've really enjoyed watching your journey and I look forward to whatever you do next! Somehow, throughout this entire series, I never managed to notice that I'm on the same datacenter as Solo Only... I swore I might have seen you once too, but I didn't see those luscious green locks, so I didn't think it was him, since more than one person can have the same name as long as they're on different data centers. I saw a legend and didn't even realize it :O

I just watched out of curiosity, and now I'm crying happy tears because all the community was rooting for you, and then they had this awesome surprise, honorary tittle, and techno party at the end. Congratulations!

Congrats! The series so far has really been a ride! The highs and lows and your creativity in solving the walls has been amazing! I'm just very worried that the difficulty spike upwards past base ARR is gonna be a big wall, since 8 man trials being tuned for DPS checks with add phases that kill you if you don't meet it is a big problem to solve.

I like this video format very much and the challenge is entertaining content and a fresh idea given that this is far away from the usual theme park MMO experience. It makes me curious how far you can push solo...I imagine there would be some mechanics in upcoming fights that could prove impossible as a solo player, but so far you've always proved me wrong. I'm definately hope you will continue the challenge for post-MSQ and maybe even into 3.0 and beyond. :P

I started to play FF14 a little before you took up this gigantic task. Even though I haven't had the time to play this whole summer I've always loved to see your videos and progress. I once quickly lurked on stream but as I said, haven't had the free time. Thank you for giving me some of the best content in KZfaq by far! Also thank you for regularly reminding me about this game that I've yet to fully experience. I had time to get the trinity title as I love triple triad and I am at the very beginning of HW. You also gave me even more passion to try to get the necromancer title even though I am far away from it gameplay wise and mechanically :)
