What I found funny about this was that it basically only show cased the flashy sort of martial arts as opposed to practical ones. Of course the second guy voted out is the one that could literally kill all of the others without a sword or machete. I understand there’s a lot of pride in their respective arts, whether it’s been shown time an time again that practically it means nothing in real fight scenarios. I don’t even wanna try to be mean but the fat short chick is the epitome of how TKD hands out black belts like candy.
@testing40372 жыл бұрын
@@brianbowls7568 In my opinion most Karate and TK only guys look down on grappling, but grapplers most of the time will beat the shit out of them.

it's hard to demonstrate his stature within the Jiu-Jitsu hierarchy with a demonstration unless as martial mind points out that he rolls with another black belt. but due to his limited resources I believe maybe he could of demonstrated more of his technique through maybe an attack series? it shows the forward thinking that happens during a roll, and a display of different submissions.

Martial, don't give up on your girls doing jiu jitsu! First I was forced to go to Muay Thai training as a kid, I hated it. Now I'm so thankful for my dad pushed through! Love how everyone crowned the Bjj guy and thought he was the fake when BJJ was easily the most effective martial art there (along with the muay thai guy). I don't think those people with black belts in their fake martial arts don't realize in a real mma match the bjj guy and muay thai beating them with their black belt they earned in 2 days

As someone who comes from a wrestling background and transitioned into bjj and boxing for cage fighting, these demonstrations look kind of ridiculous. I know it's essentially shadowing which looks weird to outsiders but the culture built around some of these martial arts is goofy to me. Not hating just feel like fundamentals like a good 1-2, a double leg and a guillotine will always beat the fancy spins and throws.
@MartialMind2 жыл бұрын
100%. Out of every martial artist there, the two most dangerous are actual the Muay Thai dude and the Jiu Jitsu guy. All the others were kinda comical.
@djsubliminalreeve2 жыл бұрын
you do know the the fancy spins are used to learn form and balance lol nobody uses that shit in a fight.

Watch this comment in a few weeks, some weirdo Bruce lee/ hong kong cinema fans are gonna tell you that all that jumping is better as a martial art practice. Eastern martial arts are alot more performative in nature and aren’t usually intended to be used in real scenarios, shaolin warrior monks are all pretty open about this fact. Obviously not all of it is performative and against an unskilled opponent they’re going to be quite effective similar to boxing in that it’s good for self defence in certain scenarios but you place it against muay thai or jujitsu or other combat martial arts and you’ll find it lacking.
@allmight81272 жыл бұрын
