Thank you Father Mawdsley in raising the Apostolic Constitution "QUO PRIMUM" of Pope SAINT PIUS FIFTH. I argue in favour of this Apostolic Constitution continuously. Too many Catholics are ignorant of Church history . The TLM I only attend where reverence of SSPX priests is exemplary as is the laity. Pray for the Pope & all priests. 🦘🌴

Never have leaders globally been able to agree on anything, Here in Canada, we tease that Quebec waits to see what the rest of the country does, and then does something different. I found reference in a secondary work that the hymn, Stabat Mater, was written by Pope Innocent III (1296-1318). Dominican Cardinal Tommaso de Vio Gaetani ("Thomas Cajetan", 1469-1534) reportedly said that Mary not standing was unscriptural & declared it, "indecens et improbabile."

We don't collapse in a flood of tears, though we may weep for the Bride often. We stand and we resist with a profound unwavering perseverance by God's grace. There are 1.2 billion plus Catholics. How many of the battles in the Old Testament were one with smaller armies than their enemies and yet God intervened and they still won? This is a holy war won not by violence but by truth and prayer and obedience. God is on our side. May God protect you and all holy Priests. This is going to be a long battle.

The challenge to stand is graphic too living within our Catholic chaos today. The laity in general have few experiences with local clergy willing to even admit there is a chaos! No response to concerns ,no clarification on where or why our Vicar of Christ is taking the Church. Silence at this level or silenced. Some may venture out to critique a brave orthodox bishop or Catholic media who do speak out and recommend we don 't listen to them! Yet we are subjected by the same timid clergy to support the on going Synod sessions, opening more chaos.This schizoid attitude gives little room for foundational Catholic Teachings and Tradition to thrive .The TLM suffers too . Hail Mary Pray for us all.

You're books and videos give me so much hope and I am not naive that more suffering awaits the Church before the situation gets better. Nevertheless, Our Lady of Fatima did promise a period of peace if a Pope would consecrate Russia properly and Our Lord did give devotion to His Holy Face as a remedy to defeat and convert revolutionary men. We need to do our part and make reparation to God for sin. The Angel of Portugal (St. Michael) preached, "Penance, Penance, Penance". We need to do more of that (myself included). May God Bless you always.

God rules the World by Divine Reason. Unjust laws work to undermine this Divinity in our laws just the way totalitarian regimes wish to usurp our humanity. If we love the good of this Divinity we MUST, not just ought, err on the side of this Divinity that manifests in just laws that are at the same time merciful. Do justice, and love mercy. This authority is from Christ. May His priestly soldiers stand this test in this evil day. Can the Mass that spans the ages be removed? Only unjustly. Be confident that Divine justice is worth living for, or dying for. 🙏

The NO represents a denial of the faith in many ways. The creators of the NO criticized the ancient Mass. The nature of the TLM is such that criticism of it undermines the authority of the Church itself. If the Church that gave us a millenial-spanning liturgy was so wrong that it needed to be completely changed, how can one trust this same Church. The TLM is the one and only Roman Rite, and it can never be abrogated. Thank you Father Mawdsley

What a sublime message in the honey badger and the Holy Spirit has been bringing my attention to nature recently to show God has laid lessons out for us if we have eyes to see, Our Lord not only spoke in parables he laid everything in creation for our understanding if we have eyes to see, in Scripture when they cast off their nets they came up with 153 fish, just the exact number of the Angelic Salutations, Hail Marys, Ave Marias in a 15 decade Rosary, been praying for the grace to say them each day and Our Lady is very quick when we ask for the spiritual graces so I give the Rosary for her intentions, lift my heart and all its intentions onto her lap, bind my soul and my loved ones to the Rosary and say Mamma, you take care of it then ask for a spiritual grace on each decade, try it and be amazed at her love and generosity for you her child also huge teccomendation for the flame of love Rosary given to Elizabeth Kindleman for us or these days and Unity prayer, God Bless

What are we to think of Francis’s take on the sspx status of not being in schism? Is he trying to confuse us? He wants to destroy tradition but says sspx not schismatics. (I know sspx are in communion before francis said this recently). It just doesn’t make sense to me- always causing confusion.

Its absurd that anyone believes Pope Francis has the authority to curtail the Latin Mass from being done by any acting Catholic priest. Moreover, bishops that abuse their authority by intimidating or even cancelling priests for doing the Latin Mass should be excommunicated for violating the commands of Jesus Christ.

If it is that AI is in general 'managed', programmed to be mainstream / woke, I think its handlers might be in for a shock. You know the Bible tells us that the wicked man digs a hole and falls into it. I wonder if AI is going to outstrip the control of those who want to give it bias, and it is going to keep concluding that Jesus Christ is the answer to all men's problems. The programmers will be battling to suppress this conclusion, but as AI gets ever 'smarter', it is going to keep arriving at this conclusion. I mean an analysis of all current communications or historical publications (which AI will be able to do super fast), not to mention countless other fields of enquiry, is going to yield this inescapable result: Jesus is King! With all due respect Father Mawdsley if Francis obeys those who are behind him then isn't he also the enemy? If he doesn't have the strength of his convictions that God will support him if he resists, then he does not belong there.

Well, I don't have an iron cast theory about all this, but I will share my thoughts. I don't know what is going on in his head or his heart. And I don't know if he is 'obeying' anyone, or if he is totally sucked in by their influence. As far as I am concerned, the enemy is not an enemy just because they are a failure or a sinner (because one way or another, that writes off most people, to say nothing of ourselves). Do we have human enemies? Yes, because Jesus said 'love your enemy', so it makes no sense to deny they exist. And St Paul spoke of enemies of the Gospel, of the Cross and of mankind. These I think we can overcome with preaching the truth (not to convert them, but to overcome their lies), with charity, with self-sacrifice. And we have enemies who are fallen angels: and these we should oppose aggressively -- not by imagining we are exorcists if we are not -- but an aggressive spiritual fight against our sin. So if we fight our own cowardice and laziness and vanity, then we can get a lot done in the service of God and the Church. Finally, I think to launch out an all out assault on Francis will leave us ashamed. It is right to resist him, and call him out, but thinking that attacking him will solve our problems is false. The whole Church is in trouble because she has been seduced by the enemies of the Gospel, of the Cross, of mankind -- I mean the Church is trying to reconcile herself with Judaism instead of praying for the conversion of the Jews, she is trying to accommodate the spirit of this world. That is the battlefield where we will win this fight, not with sad men like Francis. Again, I am feeling my way here. Much is in the dark, obviously. But I think as well that if we resist what is antichrist, then the enemy in hubris and rage will reveal himself.

I think people are missing what it means to be Catholic. What if tribulation hits, and a priest is delivering the Eucharist like he was undercover so many times before, or what if the Vatican went away? What does it mean to be Catholic? Maybe we should just keep our eyes on Christ and follow the Peter appointed for our times.

Just asking: how can one keep ones eyes on Christ and at the same time follow Francis (presuming you mean that he is the 'Peter appointed for our times'). Francis keeps poking us in the eyes, putting before us unChristian sights and ideas and documents. It is far better for the spiritual life to ignore Francis. Despite the good things he says and does, there is too much pain and chaos to be able to follow him.

Erm, it is good that you seek the positive in him. That is the right foot to set off on for for anyone. But maybe you need to read more Scripture? What about St Paul's example, which he wrote of to the Galatians: "But when Cephas was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed" (Gal 2:11). He resisted the pope, very publicly. And we do not need to listen to media reports, but just look at the documents he produces. Tell me if you think "Traditionis custodes" is reasonable, wherein he states his aim that the traditional Mass must be phased out so that we are all reduced to the novus ordo. If we disagree, that's OK.
