The dogs will still hunt you down. :'D
Don't forget that if you drop the key, the dog will pick it up regardless. Also do this at your own risk, because you might lose everything in your inventory. The map is glorious regime.

This actually surprises me because I have seen dogs phase through walls and teleport underground to retrieve lost keys.

Dogs in this game: + immortal + have x-ray vision + have built in contraband detection + good bois even tho they hate you - can't climb - poor situational awareness

You actually can do this on dungeons & duct tape, as there is little room on the roof where you can go to hide from everything even the dogs can't get you.

It's easy, in multi-player if someone else causes a lock down, the guards will only chase the player that caused it

Я проверял. После того как изоляция закончится, собаки продолжат искать ключ. В теории им можно пользоваться, но т.к. собака вечно будет идти за ключом, это проблематично.

It can happen, as long as you're very far away from the dog and you are not targeted for initiating a lockdown or having a key (or at least that's what I think).

Yea. Me and my brother were playing escapists 2 when we got stuck in a vent (we used up the screwdrivers) so the lockdown happened and we survived it. I had to knock out my brother in game to be freed because the nurses can go through the vents.

Pro Tip: you can use the Wall with Window tile and use it as a no navigation floor, allowing you to walk through this floor except npcs and even dogs. Meaning you can make dogless prisons.

Also on Rattlesnake Springs multiplayer if you get a lockdown you can go to the multiplayer are and then take the ladders down and go to the mine. Dogs cant come to the mine.

Speaking of these lockdowns that is how I escaped hmp irongate in the first escapists i basically just beat up all the guards until the white door opened and got on the raft and left since I did it on console the console guards don't have the electrified batons that they have in the PC version meaning console escapes were way easier in the first game in the escapists 2 thought I'm pretty sure they are the same

@@xX_Frogii_Xx it's clear in the video that the dog can still get the key when I dropped it for a second and the dog barked or woof, signifying it can get the key. Where specifically? Mostly the case there are vents and snipers.

@@carelesscaretaker4979 if you go through the vent from the small room near the generator at night, go across the rooftops of the cells all the way to the north medical rooms roof, the dogs will go into the medical room. (Let the maintenance guy seal the vent whilst you’re on the roof, then you can survive in the small storage room vent right next to the medical room

No. You can stay with the key and keep it but even if the lockdown ends, the dogs are still after you. Make sure to not drop the key on the ground too, because they will get it.
