in my experience i can trust my watch more than myself. I tried zon 2 training, my watch told me "your heart rate is way to high!" and i thought my heart is somehow special, it can't be, i'm not even breathing hard and so on.... Guess what? My watch was right and i'm not and now i'm injured. My advise to any new runner or any runner who has big goals: Don't think that your body is special and different than others - it isn't. It needs recovery and low volume runs like every other runers body, too.
