First ration pack was a actual C ration reinspected from WWII in basic training 1981 scrambled eggs in a can. Worst ever meal early MRE dehydrated Pork Patty . The food is way better nowadays. Have fun stay safe.

Ration kits are handy but really expensive. £25-£30 for 1 24h kit full of biscuits 🤣 and a couple of meat soups 🤣. Id rather spend £5 on a couple of tinned soups, beans and a packet of biscuits. Kind to be sent for free tho.

I hear what you’re saying, it almost felt too good to be having on just an overnight’er. Would be much suited for a longer multi day hike
