This is the only theme park of it's kind in Ontario so everyone comes here. It's not like in the U.S where a state can have like 5-10 parks (Florida) to choose from. That's why it's always so busy.

I LOVE Canada's Wonderland! It is absolutely the prettiest Cedar Fair Park. They've got great flat rides, good food, nice employees, good ops, Wonder Mountain's Guardian, and two of the better B&Ms in North America. Did you ride Behemoth in the front or the back? For whatever reason, Behemoth is a good B&M hyper in the back, but arguably the best B&M hyper in the front. The airtime on Behemoth in the front car is out of this world. Also, I find Leviathan to be very underrated. No, it's not better than Fury, but the drop is just as breathtaking, it's incredibly fast and has great airtime in the places where it has airtime and the speed hill is in my opinion one of the best elements on any coaster. The chip reader thing is a Canadian thing, an it was only a hassle for you because you don't have Canadian cards. Normally any purchase under $100 can be done by tapping either your bank or credit card on the screen. it takes 2 seconds. Purchases over $100 make you put in the chip and validate the purchase. It takes slightly longer with bank cards because you have to choose which account you want to use. The only time you have to sign is if there is something unusual about the transaction, for example if you put in the wrong PIN too many times, or if you have a foreign card. You were signing because you aren't Canadian. I've only had to sign once in the last 5 years because I forgot I had changed my credit card PIN. It's actually a fast system when you know how to use it, and far more secure because you know how much you are paying before you pay it.

Get rid of Flight Deck and get something like Maverick or Gatekeeper

Last time i went to wonderland (home park) was some time in July the tops I waited for leviathan was 5-10 minutes it was up to the stairs that's is insane for leviathan usually the whole back is open and ya (for the Americans we get let out of school at the end of June) so went in the middle of July not packed at all

This year has been changed a lot ever since the day TKWC came in back in 2010 and Playland Vancouver.

Its hard to believe that Wonderland tops out the seasonal attendance for every park in North America on a consistent basis, but then you remember that its hour long waits for most of the rides on WEDNESDAYS...and then you realise its true.

Yep, Vortex is the exact same as The Bat at Kings Island :) Same ride and layout, except this one is a ton faster, and definitely feels faster too when you're on it, as well as being a very intense Arrow Dynamics suspended coaster :) In my opinion, third best ride at the park

Beaver tails are good they had it at dollywood which was good but elephant ears are just like beaver tails but bigger

I do!'t really think you paid too much attention to this fact but we have 2 kiddie areas (Kidzville and planet snoopy) this is because planet snoopy used to be hannah barbera land when it was a paramount park and kidzville already had so many rides that they didn't wanna retheme it so they made Hannah-Barberaland and then once paramount sold their parks to sf and cf paramount's canada's wonderland was bought out by cedar fair and turned into a test site for new ride ideas making Canada's Wonderland one of the most unique parks in the world. some of their firsts include: first B&M giga, the first sledge hammer, the first 24 seater gerstlauer skyroller in North America, the first mondial windseeker, the first mack wild mouse, the first double gondola top spin, the first flying coaster by whoever built time warp, and the first inverted coaster to actually do an inversion in Canada. I'm glad you enjoyed our park to be honest I was more envious of other cedar fair parks but comeing from you made me appreciate it more Crowding is a big issue in Canada's Wonderland from may to end of school year (June) is slow and open on weekdays and it gets worse during Halloween haunt line ups become conga lines and sometimes even stretches to another area and there's too much line jumpers After you left Ace erected a plaque in vortex Oh and the credit card thing is not just at Canada's wonderland
