I am backpack traveler .6 months before my trv was refused, applied reconsideration by myself, my trv application again changed from refused to processing. They accepted my appeal but there is no more update until now. I asked them through web form about my current application status a week ago but got no reply. I have very strong home ties, reasonable financial circumstances & 15 countries travel history. Any professional reply will be appreciated.

You can’t appeal for temporary residence visa this privilege only for Canadian citizens or PR only close family members . IRCC doesn’t give right to anyone else to file appeals against visa officer decision.

Every immigration appeal first go to CBSA ( Canadian Border service agency ) first if they allow your appeal to go thru ( only if your denial is within law ) they don’t allow you to go to immigration court
