this game was bizarre...it was easily canada's worst in the tournament. europe played canada style and canada sat back and tried in the last few minutes like european teams do. and it turns out even when canada sucks they can't lose.

Steve Harper Yes of course. I AM ONE OF THEM !!!! I come from SLOVAKIA. SK has the most player in Team Europe. Have a look to goal scores.... I hopedTeam Europe to win this one, cause I wanted to watch 3rd match. Canada had referees "playing" with them. Team Europe was created to have some outsider for the WCH and would be GREAT if they kicked canadian asses. Is that clear now? Any other questions about dislikes?

As a diehard Canadian hockey fan........ I wouldn't have cared if they lost. This tournament was more of a National Team All-Star game than a World Championship. It had no intensity. I found it odd to see Marchand going nuts, just cuz I couldn't find the same exuberance. It was just disinteresting.

I think this tournament was very interesting. Especialy the Europe team which was considered outsider from the begining. And when you look how canada celebrates the win, I think even they weren't much sure about the winning. :) Im from Slavakia.

i would say on that kind of turnament we should have no referies from canada or Usa.that is fact. the game wasnt fair play game at all

+Ladislav Halcin the worst officiating I see is consistently in IIHF tournaments with European referees. The best officials in the world are from Canada. And besides, the event is NHL-operated, and so the referees are NHL referees, so primarily Canadian.

he doesn't need to be. he needs to be in the vicinity of the bench (close in proximity to it, don't know the exact number), in the process of getting off and not involved in the play whatsoever. in the end, he did not affect the play whatsoever so it shouldn't, and didn't, matter.

World Cup of Hockey is great, but some things can be improved. Team Europe worked, because it did not included players from Sweden, Finland, Russia, and Czech Republic. However, Team North America, what kinda rubbish was that? Imagine if they went on to the semis and even the finals, and would have to play against their own country?? That is rubbish, you should never have to play against your own country.

This is the first time in 20 years that I haven't seen a single game of an int. tournament... who gives a fuck about the World Cup of Hockey? It's been a joke of a tournament, we'll have to wait till the olympics to see countries against countries again.P.S. I'm from Spain, I don't care who wins the tournament, I just love hockey
