Damn,Posted 11 years ago. I was a US Marine who cross trained with this CO at Camp LeJeune NC. CPL Brad Hodge is one of the fellows who came up to my barracks for some beers. 2022 I hope this COs Men/Women are doing well. God bless

We signed the contract and held up our end, now Canada hold up your’s, support our veterans and demand the service they deserve. I’ve been waiting 9 months for a decision. Many can’t afford that and end up homeless with no address, this stops the support and decision, they must start again. They did there part, call your MP it’s the least you can do! Remember only injured soldiers get veterans benefits, and its workers compensation for soldiers, they can only get coverage from government insurance while serving, so they only ask for what you demand.

To new recruits the Afgan Vets must be seeming very old already.
@candiceh86233 жыл бұрын
Some of them were very young then. Only in their 30's now, I guess that's probably old to new recruits lol
@kunfang56043 жыл бұрын
I'm 17 and an infantry recruit, only been in the CAF for 5 months. The Afgan vets do seem very old to me but I feel very lucky that we still have the opportunity to have them as instructors and learn from their first-hand experiences. I hope they can stick around and teach for as long as possible

Why all Canadian soldiers only go fight in Afghanistan..why not Iraq
@nomad-81-255 жыл бұрын
Canada sent special forces in Iraq. I think wikileaks exposed that.

Canada didn’t support the original war in Iraq under Bush Jr. but sent special forces to train Kurds after ISIS got involved. We were big in Afghanistan though.
@nomad-81-255 жыл бұрын
Bush Sr, not Jr was responsible for the original Iraq war in 1991. Bush Jr was in the second Iraq war in 2003. In any event Canada sent troops (special forces) on the ground in both Iraq wars. Even before ISIS.
