@@deusvaultinfidel8041 my fireteam partner in BMQ here in Canada was dual citizenship USA and Canada where he had joined US army in 2008 and rejoined CAF in 2018, who was quoted as saying CAF training is more focusing on leadership training regardless of NCM or commissioned officers. Even in our BMQ, section commanders tried giving recruits more opportunities to take lead instead of giving instructions on what to do. So that's why our boot camp named "CFLRS, Canadian Forces Leadership and Recruit School." Also, our payscale is better than yours. You can try once you get Canadian citizenship or PR status, also no age limit to joining CAF, which means you can join at 40 or 50, then retire at 60.

As soon as I finish all my schooling I'm will join to become a a pilot in the RCAF as a helicopter pilot hopefully (preferably the griffons). The only speed bump I think I'm gonna face is that I have to wear glasses but it says that you can have glasses as a pilot so that restarted the fire within me to join up. fly a commercial jet the wings can move 9 feet up and down ... the globemaster essentially is a cargo plane and it's wings can do 15 feet each way ... depending on the load ... and conditions this is why when designing an aircraft from scratch one MUST do loads and stress analysis ... even before you bend apiece of metal or even cut a hole ... you MUST know where material is needed and where it can be removed to make the plane able to carry more stuff ... its almost more important than the plane itself

be able to do math in your head ... and move your hands and feet each separately while not looking where you are going and keeping track of everything around you ... after that see a recruiter and apply for pilot training and then study like your life depends on it( it does) and try to be in the top 10% of the class from day 1 ... then you have a decent chance of flying f-18's ... but dont forget we dont have many f18 slots as we dont fly many f18 jets so if you are in the top 1000 of ALL pilot trainee's and experienced serving pilots ... you MIGHT fly one ... otherwise your on the other stuff getting your feet wet ... the main criteria is a place for a pilot and an aptitude for the demanding job ... if you are under 18 get your small plane pilots certification and get an idea of what it means to fly ... it will be a step in the right direction

You will need to go to a recruitment center to apply, you will then have a first exam called a psychometric test to tests your ability to be an officier. After so, there will be phase 1 of the medical test (it’s really basic, but there is a bunch of stuff you need to do yourself, it will all be explained). Then you will have the actual pilot test in Trenton (Ontario)(all expenses are paid) it is one of the hardest part since only about 10-20% of people make it (you can retake it after a year). Finally, there will be the second phase of the medical in Toronto (all paid for) where you will do more advanced tests. I am currently waiting for the result of the second phase of the medical and joining the Royal military college of Kingston or St-Jean next summer. Hope this helps and hope to see you in the air soon!

go to a local airport where they do tourist flights or sight seeing ... and see if you can handle that ... then ask yourself ... can I do math in my head in seconds ... if you answer no to both of those .. then another area would be better ... heck a 5 mile sniper (artillery) is an option ... so is a ground pounder ... but all of these do require an ability to learn and do maths in your head ... heck if you are a good mechanic there are a TON of jobs where you can do that also from jets down to the common cars and jeeps ... heck if you want to be around jets then become an aircraft mechanic or ACS ... and spend your time fixing stuff and keeping it in fighting trim ... a pilot is no good if his plane falls out of the sky or wont be able to stay in a fight ... think of it this way the guy on the front line in any military jobe counts on about 4 dozen people behind him to keep him and his gear in the best order possible ... no ONE person is an army alone ... EVERY job depends on another person to accomplish your goals

@@antondushenko639 Not exactly. You give them your preference, and they will take it into consideration, but ultimately what determines where they send you is where there are spots available and/or where they need people.
