Mostly Indians try to train their foreign girlfriends or wives for Indian cooking. Many of the gfs or wives learn too but often it becomes too much for them to deal with when Indian men start expecting them to take over full time Indian cooking. Then in many cases the foreign ladies revolt in a big way and stop almost all Indian cooking :))

Exactly. We eat lot of carbs, sweets and salt. Our food is over cooked. They eat high protein, low carb/sugar/salt diet (vegetables are slightly cooked).. They consume lot of salads in their diet. Hence muscles are toned and they don't suffer from gastric illnesses or diabetes like us. Most of us Indians have the ugliest physique - tummy out, double chin, saggy 'muscles'.. But end of the day, we can't live without our food. Also we don't work out a lot. We need servants to do even simple things like cleaning our houses.. Unless we drastically change our food habits and start doing most of the work ourselves (including cleaning our houses) we won't be fit. No chance.
