Gweilo spitting those truths as always. A huge issue with 4/5 year terms is the government know it doesn't matter what they do for the 1st 2 years or so. By election time it'll most likely be forgotten. They only act towards the back end to win the next election. With ever changing governments you also can't plan long term (like the CPCs 10 yr plans) as different parties may change plans if they get in charge. And lastly parties spend too much time blocking opposing parties from getting anything done to make them look inadequate, again in the hope they win election. This often means things not being done even if it's for the benefit of the country.

In China politicians taking money from individuals or businesses is called Corruption. In the West politicians taking money from individuals or businesses is called taking Political Donations - it's not only legal, they write in their laws that people who conduct such crimes (by Chinese definition) will be guaranteed tax cuts as a minimum benefit.

Who's ever said Western Democracy is the best form of Democracy? The World is a work in progress. The end will justify the means. Nothing is sustainable until it's made perfect. Democracy is not sustainable until it's made perfect. The West failed to perfect what they had, now they have corporations Democracy, not Democracy for people. The first will be the last and last will be the first as it's started in the Bible. The West had good chance to advance more in Democracy but they let their guard down, they became complacent. They did not do nothing to better what they had, now it has became unsustainable!. The perfect government will be the one to come down from the Heaven. Jesus will be the President for Eternity. The US is a representative democracy, not a people's democracy. Americans vote for someone to represent them in the state or Federal legislatures. if china can have its form of democracy why cant other countries have there own form of democracy if they so chose. It does not matter what form of government a country has the one that rules is the one with the money and power.

It is a selective democracy. You have to prove yourself to have a say within the Communist Party of China, I am of two minds about that. As many can have no say in how you have to prove yourself, depends how large the party, how inclusive the party and how clear the method is of gaining approval to join the party and what works need to be achieved for China, to progress in the party, what good deeds you need to do for your citizen, to progress within the selective representation, you must prove your qualities before you can run for office. It really depends upon the qualities of the party and those already in it, they certainly seem to be doing well at this time in China and beyond distortions of image global media seem to have been doing better for quite some time and continuing to grow and develop. Western democracy based upon the lies of corporate for profit main stream media, is less, than well, honest or representative, for more selective than the Chinese Communist Party, if you have the money you can join in the real politics, if you do not have the money, you get the lies and the pretend democracy. The two minds about selective democracy, if it is big (lots of active members), it is probably good, if it is small (very few active members) it is probably bad. As long as the method of entry is clear and everyone has equal opportunity to attempt it and members must prove their worth by the deeds they have done, which the party can effectively track and confirm, they outcomes will be pretty good, everyone watches everyone else, in socially supportive way (the internet allows those worthy deeds to be recorded and kept and shared within the party, building your credentials over time along with the worth of the community you contributed to).

In China, according to Western polling companies well over 90% of the people support the CPC. Why? Democracy is term to defin a certain aspects in a system of governance which china dose not reflect. It is mainly an Authocratic one party state, which just hapens to be curently be seen as favorable by the chines population to which extend the figure given is corect is another topic. The problem those systems usaly have is that as easily as they can inforce things that are benifical to people they can also easily inforce negative policies.
