I really don't care if we DO get more after the last Grand Prix. We've already been given an entire game's worth of stuff for free after launch. I'm happy with what we already got, personally.

I think the upcoming content being non-Grand Prix related is quite the benefit, Beenox could release whoever & whatever without question & we won't have to feel pressured into keeping up with them until they disappear, also less time to make tracks will mean more time to make new skins, characters & fix online.

When they said new characters coming, I'm pretty sure they're gonna listen to fans and give us everyone we're wanting. Viscount, Willie, Amberly, (maybe) Mr Krumb. We've got new possibilities!

The microtransactions of this game feel more and more irrelevant with those extra ways to earn wumpa coins. First the weekend bonuses, then the golden wumpas, and now we're getting challenges that reward you with wumpa coins. It keeps making me feel good about not wasting real money on wumpa coins, with those extra old-school ways to earn them. P. S. They could give you bonus multipliers for certain characters and/or skins, like they did with the nitro bar.

What items have actually been "long awaited"? Geary skin? CNK adventure mode?

Hope the last Grand Prix go's out with a bang. I have a feeling that CNK'S story mode might be in this Grand Prix, but I highly doubt it. Also i do hope that the characters in the old datamine get in.

The Electron Skins & Nitros Oxide Edition content (Skins, Decal, Paintjob, & Stickers) should become available to Standard Edition players (just like with the Metal Sonic DLC in Sonc & All-Stars Racing Transformed eventually becoming available in-store DLC purchase), either as in-store DLC purchases or Pit Stop items. The CPU racers get to use them in the standard editions & we don't, and that's not fair at all. Other limited content like the Cove Cruiser content, Firehawk, & maybe the upcoming Xfinity Blitz kart should become permanently available as well, most likely via eShop purchases (but pit stop would work, too). And since Retro Crash did appear in the N Sane Trilogy startup for ALL consoles, perhaps some of the Retro content (specifically the skins, karts, & wheels) should be added to the Xbox & Switch Version. AND, as an added bonus... 1.) The Retro Kart can change engine sounds from the original 1999 CTR depending on Driving Style. 2.) Using the Retro Skins can allow Crash, Coco, & Cortex can recycle their original 1999 CTR voice clips by their original actors (respectively: Brenden O' Brien & Billy Pope; Hynden Walch, my fav Coco voice actress; & Clancy Brown).

Wow! After the Final Grand Prix ends by March 22nd, they'll be brand new content for Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled with includes monthly challenges without the Grand Prix, hopefully they'll be new characters will be available in the Pit Stop that they're from the old datamines and teased on the new tracks that they did not to be mentioned when they're still missing like: Baby Cortex, Baby N. Tropy, Ripto, The Sorceress, Evil Crash, Madame Amberley, Willie Wumpa Cheeks, Rusty Walrus, and Victor and Moritz the Evil Twins. I believe that they'll be coming in Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled with brand new content without the Grand Prix limited after the Final Grand Prix. And I am so looking forward to that. 🙂

In that case, what if they also add evil Twins from Twinsanity, and rest of the crash characters from the entire series? And maybe they'll add more Spyro characters too? Also I can't wait for the final Grand Prix too! 😃

Other then Willie Wumpa Cheeks, Rusty Walrus, and the lab assistant being added, I’m perfectly fine with the amount of content we’ve been given with this game. It’s been super fun collecting different characters, skins, paint jobs, karts etc., and I’m still working on it!

I'd like to think that the item that all fans were asking for could be the Emperor Velo's floating kart from CNK. 'cuase all of us wanted it since the game showed us that we were going to have CNK karts and characters

If they DO release more Spyro characters / skins I have a bunch of ideas SO MANY IDEAS!!!

I'm actually excited about the end of the GPs. No more stressing out about completing the Nitro Gauge and staying in that top 5%, now the challenges are an easy way to make some Wumpa coins for the Pit Stop! And the fact that future racers, skins, etc. won't be tied to any particular GP means Beenox is free to go nuts and make whatever they want. It's probably foolish to hope for so many more Spyro characters, but if they were to add Elora, Moneybags, Ripto, Bianca, Sheila, Agent 9, and The Sorceress, I'd feel satisfied. I'm already picturing legendary skins: Merchant Moneybags - Moneybags wears his Merchant outfit from AHT, showing off various items for sale, including Talismans of Avalar. Sultan Ripto - Ripto, wearing a comically large turban, rubs a magic lamp while riding on a flying carpet. His rubbing gets faster and more frantic until mist rises out of the lamp, pleasing him, and he chuckles evilly. But before the mist can form into a genie, it retreats back inside the lamp, annoying Ripto and prompting him to rub the lamp again. Magician Bianca - Bianca warps in wearing her magician outfit from AotR. She tries a trick using her hat, and pulls out the rabbit monster from YotD. With a panicked glance at the camera, Bianca promptly stuffs the monster back into her hat, bows with a sheepish grin, and warps away. Deputy Agent 9 - Agent 9 is dressed as a sheriff's deputy, as a nod to his mission from Dino Mines. He packs a pair of revolvers and fires them off with gleeful abandon. I got a couple other skins I'd like to see too: Sir Crash-a-Lot - Crash in a suit of knight armor, carrying a lance and riding a boar in his podium animation. It would just be so goofy and adorable. Genie Tawna - Tawna rises out of a genie bottle in a cloud of pink smoke, wearing a bedlah and a veil and swaying back and forth in a serpentine motion. Tawna continues to dance in a circle before posing and vanishing in a puff of pink smoke. Truth be told, I'd like to see Genie skins for the rest of Nitro Squad as well, perhaps using different props such as scimitars, a veil, and even a snake. Though if I'm being honest with myself, what I'm imagining would probably be too fanservicy for an E10+ game, but even if they had to, say, cover up the midriffs, I would still enjoy seeing the Nitro Squad as genie gals, just for more of that oriental, Middle East-inspired flavor I love.

I believe there is DEFINITELY more on the horizon for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueld. And I'm ABSOLUTELY, 3000% POSITIVE that Beenox IS AWARE that Coco already has a lot of skins, and I'm sure they'll award Legendary Skins to racers who don't already have one (Geary, Gnasty Gnorc, Hunter, Doctor Nitrus Brio, Komodo Moe, Ebenezer Von Clutch, Pasadena O'Possum, King 🐔, Rilla Roo, Yaya 🐼, Chick Gizzard Lips, and Stew).

For the item "the fans will be happy about" it could be the mask in the PlayStation advertisement, maybe they're teasing at the ability to choose a mask regardless of your character? Then they could put more masks in the pit-stop to act as marketing for the next game. They've been pushing customisation from day one, so why not more?

Never did i imagine this game would have this much content. Amazing

Honestly, with the GP done soon, I'm expecting the PC version dropping soon as well. Without the Nitro bar thing and the challenges being more ordinary, there's nothing that stops the PC version from coming at this point. I just hope that Iron Galaxy (who made the great PC ports of the N Sane Trilogy and the Reignited Trilogy) started making the port for a while, instead of waiting for the GP being done in order to start making the port. Otherwise it might take a bit longer than a few more months...

Something worth pointing out is that while they have stated that Grand Prix events are coming to an end, and haven't confirmed new tracks, I haven't seen anything that says we for sure aren't getting any more new tracks after the last Grand Prix. It's likely that if we do get new tracks they will be much more rare however, and not be something we get monthly anymore. They would be reserved for special occasions, such as celebrating the new Crash game or big holidays like Halloween and Christmas.

I feel like seeing an Elephant Snail being a vehicle for the Spyro Grand Prix Challenges. Like if you want this hilarious idea for a kart to be real.

This is a long shot but what if they are stopping Grand Prix’s until June when the PC version would most likely release and with the launch of the PC version they give us all the tracks from CTTR. Probably won’t happen but it’s worth a shot

Okay, obvious prediction out of the way. Willie will be the first post-GP character.

I think it would be hilarious if Geary got TWO Skins. One called 'Forgotten Geary', where he's all rusted up and busted, sparks flying out of cracks in is body with wires exposed, and one of his eyes is broken and cannot emit light. Then the other one called 'Remembered/Unforgettable Geary', where he's got a slick new design and some tech upgrades, like he's the hot new iphone or something.

I love to see Elora, Bianca, and Shelia the Kangaroo.

Now that the GPs are coming to an end maybe we'll see better technical support for the game, especially with the online and WC payouts in local.

I’m sure there will be more content added without Grand Prixs as there were data mines of other characters and karts in future updates. Not only that, we still have no idea who the “DriverWhoAmI” mysterious character could be; possibly a brand new character like Hasty and King Chicken

Who's to say that there can't be more tracks coming in the future. Just because they're ditching the Grand Prix format, doesn't mean that they'll for sure be done with new tracks. They may just be taking a break from working their tails off every month to try and come up with a new track plus characters, skins, karts, etc. So while I don't think there's going to be new tracks in the next few months after the "last" Grand Prix, I wouldn't fully rule out the possibility of more tracks sometime in the future. Especially if there is indeed a new Crash game coming this year. But either way, I'm extremely happy with everything that Beenox has come out with since the release. This is an example of what more game studios need to do with games like this. It's how you get a good reputation.

I'm willing to bet the Dev Times item is the CNK Hoverbike. People have been wanting that (as well as Emperor Velo) in since the beginning.

I'm gunna laugh if it IS a new skin for Geary. (I think a Clank skin would be a pretty cool skin for Geary, don't you?)

Even though Activision DID sneak in Wumpa Coin bundles a month after launch after we were initially told there would be NO MTX for the game, I think what we DID get so far is certainly more than what we did get in the original CTR, and that makes me happy. If Beenox continues to support this game, great. But if not, I'm not going to be mad.

I still think they might add at the end of supporting the game CNK adventure mode And may be the reward will be completely new track

What if the secret item is the adventure mode from Crash Nitro Kart?! With it's theatrical clips & a trophy set.

What if the big mystery "item" is a new track, or a new cup? Or the adventure mode from Crash Nitro Kart? OR, WAIT A SECOND!!! WHAT IF IT'S THE DOUBLE DASH MODE THAT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS BEEN ASKING FOR!!!😍 What if that double dash moment we saw in the trailer for the Rustland Grand Prix was actually a hint/tease of what's to come (just like that new moon phase mask in that PlayStation ad that you did a video about)? What if they have been planning this all along and were just waiting for the right time? Or what if they purposely put that into the Rustland Grand Prix to see if WE (the fans) wanted a double dash mode (as it's much easier and quicker to show something and get responses than it is to do a straight up poll, especially when it comes to video games, in my opinion anyway)? Think about it, when we saw that double dash moment in the trailer we all got super excited! But when we saw that the double dash mode wasn't there when the Rustland Grand Prix started, what did we end up doing (other than ending up super disappointed)? We requested for it, and not just a few people either. On top of that how many times has the Crash/Spyro teams listened to what the fans want added/fixed in the games and then go and accommodate for us? If enough fans show they really want something (such as the double dash mode), there's a good chance that those fans would be heard as the Crash/Spyro teams want their games to be the best that they can be for their fans. I'm pretty sure they can count this mode as an item, or maybe they are using the word "item" to fool us.. I know that if I was told something was an item but it turned out to be sooo much more, I would be extremely happy and surprised because it was more than what I was expecting. Plus they seem to be making an awfully big deal about this "item" for beating the developer times.. so it has to be Something Big. Why else would they be making such a big deal about this "item"? That's just something that's crossed my mind based on what we know so far about the game and fan requests. I'm calling it! I'm putting my money on the double dash mode as to my knowledge that is the #1 thing fans have been asking for since CTR came out. What do you think @Canadianguyeh ?

They also need to add cnk outfits if it’s possible for them to make a cnk story mode. I know it won’t happen but they could at least put the cnk costumes in the game.

As a huge fan, I hope this is not the end. But as a human, I completely understand the fact that the team have to concentrate on other projects. But I have to say, of this is to be the end, what a ride it was! Beenox team’s just perfectly amazing!

I've never understood the complaints regarding Coco's skins. As of Rustland, she has the same number of skins as Crash

If I remember correctly Megamix Mania is the only track not present in any cup. I would love to see them add three more tracks to make up another cup. It doesn't really make sense to leave some tracks you can't play in any cup

I’m 75% done with this last Grand Prix and I have every item from the stores and all the champion decals and to top it off I have the flying dlc vehicle and the 4 sour patch kids promoted items and all time trials have been done except for the new velo ones now. So by the time they stop adding content I should have 100% of everything ever added to the game. What a ride it’s been

I think CTR is missing only one big thing i really hoped for but never came to be.. BIKES. I mean, we got a freaking airplane. We already have a Biker Crash skin, and the bike from Crash 3 could easily be ported from the Nsane trilogy. Only issue would be changing the animations for all the characters, so maybe that's the only reason it hasn't happened yet..

Sadly the Developer Time reward is likely Willie Wumpa, which is a shame because I can barely beat Oxide and can't even touch Velo

The “revamping” of past Grand Prix levels with new characters that were mentioned but not added would be nice. But I hope they do like Sonic Riders and have slightly alternate depictions of those levels.

You forgot about one thing that can be considered the wanted item: the mask from the PS4 It's Time To Play ad. We've yet to see it anywhere outside of that commercial and fans desperately want to see if it actually exists. Bonus points if the mask is a tie-in to the new Crash game. Either that or a skin for Japanese Crash, I dunno. In regards to post-GP support, I could see it last until either June/July or December (since Papu Papu never got his santa skin). In any case, the actual end of support will come once we hear about a Game of the Year Edition.

I can see CTR being supported until either June with the last of the data mine characters and reference characters coming in or until the new Crash game comes out, which seems to be November at this point

6:36 I'm kinda iffy about that. I personally think it'll be akin to the charity kart and you can buy it from the eShop/PSStore... It would be an interesting thing (that I probably won't ever unlock, but still) to affix to a challenge like the dev times... And I'm on the fence about this being the end of the CTR life cycle at least for the foreseeable future, as long as there are things to unlock and potential money to be made with Wumpa Coin microtransactions, I think Beenox will provide a little modicum of support as long as the interest is there...

A long awaited item? Items used in racing, right? I'm not sure on what that could be, but I've always wanted super moves in CTR ever since Mario Kart Double Dash came up with them...then ditched them in later entries.

I don’t think the “special item” is a character, kart, or skin. Because otherwise they probably wouldn’t have singled it out like that. I for one am really hoping it’s Nitro Kart’s Story Mode.

The Evil Twins could fit into Nina's Nightmare or this upcoming grand prix since space themed. Also, Why not put Ratchet and Clank for promotion.

Xfinity is a mobile provider, it's probably a cross-promotion with them.

I’m personally amazed they’ve supported a $40 game half as much as they have. Engine swaps and item balancing was needed but everything after the December Grand Prix has just been gravy in my opinion. The net code is the only problem I still have with the game and I feel like if it could be fixed it would have been by now.
