This show was so helpful for me. I started running in January and kept hitting the same plateau over and over. Today I set my watch at zone 2 and ended up walking 3 miles mostly in zone 2. The zone 2 walks will be part of my routine til I can run in zone 2. Thanks Rich, peace and plants!

It took me a long time to figure out why I was crashing. Many books, podcasts and conversations with others. Ultimately, it only took one test from a doctor to reveal that all of the symptoms and manifestations lay in menopause. It took the action of me going to the doctor and her being astute enough to check hormone levels to change the trajectory of my research/actions.We (humanity) have a lot to learn about ourselves. We have to figure out our own user manual and it doesn't always come easy.

Training as a mental health counselor and creating a psychoeducational business to work with people who are not sick and high performers but who still need help being whole and human! Hoping to bring a mental heath curriculum to CrossFit gyms and the like to support building courage to be human not just a winner with big muscles. 💪🏼

My gosh, this podcast is an absolute gem! Insightful, inspiring and encouraging. Honestly, I feel like it spoke to me in some regards more than any of your previous podcasts. Definitely going to work on my overthinking personality (high time to stop optimizing everything before I even try) and maybe writing down my story, just for myself- I am sure it will make me appreciate what I have been through much more and who know, maybe it will help someone (or myself if faced with some relapse thoughts) in the future. . Thank you guys for (as always) delivering us the best food for thought in the podcast world! Sending you lots of love and hoping you are having a great day or night!

I have been listening to the Rich Roll podcast for years! I love all the great guests and the evolution of the podcast. I am truly enjoying this format with Adam Skolnick, but I do miss listening to Julie Piatt too. Thank you for these great, inspiring, informative conversations. I do like Rich's new look, but he looked great before too and fresher! Don't get too serious with the look. I also liked the old less serious background better, the dark drapes and all black studio remind me a little of Charlie Rose and that's no good, LOL!

Hello Rich, I just finished listening to the episode of Roll On about finding your passion. You mentioned that as part of your current practice you do some journal pages from Artist’s Way! As an art therapist I am richly impressed and intrigued how you came upon this book and how it is serving you! I am curious about your connection to the creative process as part of your wellness journey. I am also curious if you have ever thought about interviewing an art therapist on your show? Loved your response to the woman with the addict partner! Alnon is an excellent resource.- speaking from personal experience. For anyone in her position, just know that when someone you love and who professes to love you calls you any derogatory name, that is very emotionally damaging always. You have to separate yourself from that situation. Know to that verbal abuse often leads to physical abuse and that leads to injury and even death.

Really am enjoying this style of podcast. I enjoy hearing some of the thoughts on current events. And as always motivating me to get out there and get moving. As always, appreciate peace and plants. :) Adam banged exactly how I know I'm feeling about "cancel culture" How he feels like he's a progressing person but feeling not "progressive enough" people who feel this way or are told they are this way can feel silenced and stifled. Causing the chilling or onlooking effect that the 2 of you were discussing. I also agree with his thoughts on antisemitism. Which, eerily no one seems to be unpacking here in our nation (USA) other than the American Jewish community.

Relating to the gear topic Rich, I think you miss the point of why some people really want to know the Intel on gear - for me, money is an issue and I want to be sure that I get really accurate data because of my health issues without breaking the bank. People want your advice because you're smart and wise. ☺️

Self-help: like Rich said, it's about intention. Your intention is an instrument of faith, and your faith gives you the strength to persevere. The outside world will only change once you have done the inner work.

The Dume MPA is good for you, bad for me. As regular parts of my workout, shooting a halibut or a WSB there was a huge part of it. I could feed myself and get a workout. Now I have to do it somewhere else. There are a lot of freedivers in the ultra and endurance community, who shoot fish and like to harvest their own protein. This is actually the very definition of cancel culture. You can't fish here, you can't fish there. You can't pull lobster here or there... Kind of ironic don't you think, Adam?

To me, it's this simple, we have free speech, but we also have a massive amount of bad faith speech/demagoguery from the right, republicans, and Trump that are used to disorient/shut-down any rational conversation or constructive public discourse. The right/republicans have not been interested in having a multi-sided conversation that they can not dominate. This has made them rhetorically flabby and ultra static. Meanwhile the rest of us will eventually win a majority of public offices and will get the work done. The right is busy putting themselves out of power because they refuse conversation, facts, and the needs of a diverse constituencies

Hello Rich Roll, I hope this midweek format will not detract from your ‚real‘ podcast. I have a slight urge to not listen to your podcasts with Adam Skolnick. To my feeling these talks are totally off brand. You are not a journalist, Skolnick is. So he cannot help himself, he will bring journalism to your guest microphone. Having had a look at the Apple top 100 podcast list I see people like their journalism in podcast format. Nothing wrong with journalism, of course, without it no modern democracy could function. I just think that maybe NPR or say Rachel Maddow have been at it for much longer. You however, are still unique. You go for the story behind the story. You make humanity shine through the prism that is your guest. At the beginning there were fewer celebrities, but you made their humanity shine all the same.
