Thanks for the review, looking at going with my finance in a couple months. Admittedly like everyone else I was thrown off by the minibar points seeming so low but I can see the concept working.

It honestly was more than enough! Also, the points are different based on the room you get and the amount of time you stay there. We were only there for 3 nights, so that's why we got the 12000 points.

@@NguyenningAtLife at other hotels guests mentioned being able to smell the seaweed from within the resort, did you find this to be the case?

@@curlswithcourt The only time you can really smell anything is when you're on the beach near the ocean. Throughout the resort, you don't smell anything 😊

Do you have to 'pay' (with the credits) for your coffee and snacks in the morning too, or is it just a walk up coffee bar like at other resorts?

No, you don't have to pay with the points. It's just a walk-up coffee bar! 😊

Going there in a few weeks, i thought all-inclusive meant food/drinks were included. What’s up with the points? Looks like y’all had fun.

The points are only to customize your mini bar in the room! We actually didn't use up all our points cause we mostly just ordered drinks and food from the bar or restaurants 😊 And yes, we definitely enjoyed our time there! Hope you have fun and make sure to get the risotto from Frank and Lola's! 😉

I'm considering going here with family. My nephew is a picky eater. Were there any kid friendly options? Such as... cheese pizza? Also, was it general requests that were slow when requested on the app? Or was room service also slow?

Unfortunately, we don't recall seeing plain cheese pizza on the menu, but I'm sure that's something they can easily make. Everything was slow when requesting on the app. It was quicker to just find a worker and ask them for help.

Does the coffee and snack in the morning at joes cost? Also do the beach beds cost?

Coffee and snacks are free! I believe the beach beds do have a cost, but we got it for free because we agreed to talk to their timeshare company. Lol.

Great video! You two are so cute! Txs for the quick reply! I want to bring my two children 20 and 22. Would you say we need to bring much for money? Or is most all inclusive? Also how was the snorkeling? I loved that about the beach in Cuba yrs ago. Beautiful coral just out off the beaches.

@@louise9830 It was like 2 hours. Don't really recommend doing it! Haha. You are not obligated to purchase, but they are very pushy so you feel quite drained afterwards. Lol.

They said it's not as bad in September, but you can't control mother nature so you never know. You'll still have a good time regardless though! 🙂

@@emuela68 to be honest in my opinion they are way better places out there. I mean the people and the property was nice but the food and drinks was not good at all. If you like sitting at a pool all day this resort is for you because the beach had tons of seaweed in it. The only thing that goes on at night is a band.

so for your whole stay you only get 12000 pts? That based on those prices is equal to getting about 20 things for the entire trip? Doesn't seem like a lot

These points are just to fill up your mini bar in the room! While we are by the pool or doing activities around the resort, we just order drinks from the bar. It was actually more than enough points! We ended up having a lot left over on the last day and used it to get snacks for the plane ride home 😊

Pesos or points? That seems very very expensive if pesos and get next to nothing for the fridge.

It's with points! If you run out of points, then you can pay in pesos. But we actually had more than enough points! We ended up using most of it our last morning there to get snacks for the plane ride home. Lol.
