I suppose this was to avoid confusion with the many Marys of the time. Read John 19: 23-27 Use your common sense as well. If Jesus really had siblings, why would he instruct John before he died to accept His mother as his own mother. Wouldn't He have left that responsibility to her other children?

Nowhere in the bible does it say that Mary had sex. Please, provide a scripture if it does. Otherwise, you are conflating the relationships of his "adelphoi". Where were Jesus' supposed brothers & sisters when Jesus gave Mary to John at the cross? Why would He have to give her to him? If she had another son, according to Jewish tradition, that son would be her caretaker after Joseph passed on, not a stranger like John who was of no relation to Jesus. That's why He didn't give her to any of the other Apostles who were all slaughtered and killed. Jesus isn't stupid. NOWHERE in The Bible does it ever say that Mary ever had relations with a man or that she bore other children. Nowhere. Joseph might've had other children before he married Mary, but after he married Mary? The scriptures never say that Joseph had other sons either. So, to believe that Mary had sexual relations with men or that she had other children besides Jesus is literally an unbiblical belief since it is nowhere to be found in scripture. Also, this was foretold in the Gospel of John when Jesus told Peter to lead the Disciples and the Apostles and He told them that they would be martyred. Peter knew that John wasn't going to be martyred when he asked Jesus what about John (who was the author of that Gospel). Jesus said that he wouldn't be martyred. We learned why at The Cross...Joh (the Apostle that Jesus loved most) was chosen to care for His mother upon His sacrifice at the cross and thus, was protected from harm so that he in turn could protect Jesus' blessed mother.

If you have nothing against Catholics, you won't malign them. They believe in the Trinity and follow their faith which includes the Nicene Creed for example. It is true that some don't understand the depth of the levels of meaning in the faith, but then from your comment neither do you. None us can ever know all there is to know about God, but they definitely do believe there is one mediator. As for Mary (the mother of the mediator who you say you believe in) and the saints, they are exemplars of faith in God and definitely do not save and forgive sins. No idea why anyone would believe that and definitely not in their catechism. I have a problem with the Jesus only idea because the totality of the Trinity is missing. I hope and pray that all Christians can behave kindly to each other because in this crazy/chaotic world, we are all in danger if Islam continues its quest to conquer all just as it has done in the past and nearly succeeded.
