Congratulations Julie! I found Jesus in 2021 at 50 years old. Went to church on Easter with a friend. That friend Baptized me a month later in May! Ha! God is GOOD! Was "unchurched" so didn't grow up in a believing family. Praise God my kids still live at home to see God move and what He's doing. Julie, it's an exciting time to be in His Kingdom!!!

I’ve always liked Julie, and now I like her even more! Julie is why I used to watch the Talk, and she is also one reason I’ve watched Big Brother from the beginning and have not missed a year, or season. I admired Julie when she stood up for her husband and started using his name in her introduction of herself, it was proof of her faithfulness and belief in him. I have noticed a change in her over these last few years, but did not know why. Well this answers those questions. I’m so happy for her and finding faith in Jesus. Thank you for a wonderful interview. And bless you Julie in all you do.

What a great show and hearing Julie’s testimony was more than inspiring and very edifying. Julie has always had a “presence” about her and I can’t wait to see how the Lord uses her even more. I pray more “closet Christians” will have the strength to speak out. Thank YOU Candace for embarking on this podcast journey. It has brought me joy so I pray for others to join this gem. God bless.

I love Julie’s testimony. Also her honesty as I relate to her story, God will use each of us according to the purpose of His Will. We all belong to Him , and when you discover Jesus is The Lord , no matter how old , no matter what you’ve done, He wants to give you All Good things, When I think how God gave His Only Son as sacrifice for all our sins , so that God can have us in His presence.. because before there was no way we could be with God, God is Holy. No matter how hard we may try to be good, our goodness is nothing in the presence of Holiness, thus we needed a Savior, a Sacrifice, one that could bridge us to God The Father. Only blood was the covering, The Blood of Jesus Christ The Son of God. The Bible in Hebrews says He went to the Cross with joy set before Him . The Cross was an awful horrible shameful experience, but He ( God The Son) could’ve stopped it all at any moment, went forward being nailed to that Cross, not to forget all the abuse He endured before the Cross. He did it all for You & Me. I pray this helps someone who’s unsure about God, and who God is. God is Our Father , there aren’t enough words to tell you how your life will change for the better, Ask Jesus to come into your heart, and to forgive All your sins . Tell someone who is a Christian and they can help you start your journey..

Candace & Julie, I enjoyed you both so much! Thank you for sharing your heart. For the listener question, I can relate. My daughter who was raised in church decided when she was a Sr in high school that she didn’t believe in God. She sought out various other belief systems, some satanic. She was searching. Her faith needed to be her own, not mine. But after 14 years of wondering in the wilderness, she came back to Jesus and was baptized in January. I believe her daughter will too. He will complete the work that was started. And her faith will be stronger than ever.

I think what people have a hard time with is, although it is come as you are, it is not stay as you are. We are called to be holy. We are called to be like Jesus, which means we’re gonna have to make some sacrifices, and we’re gonna have to make some changes as the Holy Spirit leads.

As Christians we are commanded to love our neighbors, pray for our enemies and bless those who curse us, and not go on a book tour trying to shame or blame the other hosts on The Talk. It's good to be zealous as a newbie Christian! However, remember that conversion is instant but sanctification takes a lifetime. Where's the forgiveness, grace and compassion toward her former co-hosts who aren't believers and what about asking forgiveness to the first Mrs. Moonves?

It’s a nice story, but I haven’t heard anything that says salvation. Asking God to lift you up is not salvation. Neither going to church nor reading the Bible are salvation. Salvation is believing in Jesus, that he is the only way to heaven. It is by grace through faith in Jesus. It is placing your confidence in Jesus alone for eternal life. I’ve listened to all of it and I don’t hear anything about true salvation. Maybe with Julie it was more of a process.

I had the very same thought. No mention of her understanding that she is a sinner and then believing in Christ alone to be the only sufficient payment for her sin. I truly hope that Julie is a born again Christian but it certainly wasn't clear from this interview.

I really wanted to like this episode, sadly, I couldn't relate at all. Although I grew up in a very Christian household and went to church I never once saw any miracles like Julie is talking about. Telling us to believe because it's represented in the bible, doesn't seem like evidence to me. I saw heartbreak and sadness daily no matter how much believing and praying went on.

I'm sorry this has been your experience. What stands out to me in your comment are the two "I saw" statements. I think maybe you're choosing what to see and what not to see. I'm not saying your circumstances haven't been hard, but maybe you're looking through the wrong lens. In any case, you're looking through human eyes. I encourage you to keep searching for God. He wants to be found. I pray in agreement with Candace's prayer for you.
