It sounds like Candy own Hoover and I have a Hoover Washing Machine with an Integrated Dryer and has a Universal Motor controlled via both SCR + Triac.

Where do you buy the parts? I need to fix a Candy Alisse go 485 machine. The panel wont light up at all so i followed the wiring to the board and it was a bit black on the board at connection. Any help greatly appreciated

great video but E09 seems to be a catch all error, i had one on my vita (twice actually in 2 years) and both times it was the brush contacts for the motor , its really easy to change them the way i ended up doing it i looked at loads of videos and they all say take the motor out (which basically means take the machine apart) but if you tip the machine on its back the motor is right there and the contacts just unscrew and are easily replaced hope this helps someone

Hi, wondering if you could help out. My hoover was doing exact same as your candy and coming up with E09. Had a guy fit a triac whilst I waited for amazon to post mine. The washer kinda works but only on a 14 min wash. All other cycles stop after 10mins. I have tested resistance on new triacs and they showing 138ohms. The triac fitted to washer is showing 86ohms. Could this be the problem? I've tested the motor and tachometer and it seems fine. Thanks in advance.

I’m not sure that the resistance of a triac means much. I’d try it on a spin cycle. If it can do that it’s probably not the triac

@@bootsowen Thanks for getting back to me. Yes it works on drain and spin at 1400 and does a complete 14min quick wash, but stops after 10 mins in any other cycle. I read somewhere that the triac controls the heater element so maybe this is at fault. Comes up with E08 error now when it stops but I've tested motor and tachometer and they seem fine.

Great video buddy! the Wifi connectivity is kinda cool, were u can start the phone through a phone etc, and be away from home lol. it is kinda silly cos you think delay timer was invented for same thing, but yeah kinda nice to have updated features Alot of positive reviews online, and at £250 still not bad if can get fixed. I wonder if it had its motor replaced not long after use, and maybe triac has failed because of it i dunno, but yeah that triac seemed to be dead, good that the rest of board looks clean and not blow, motor looks good! Keep it up buddy! ya finding some real gems of machines! the bosch king ;) These videos are great if peeps complain then just ignore it, there educational and give peeps great advice in how to fix things! loving the content as always!

Hi nice video. I am getting an e20 error on a Hoover Wdxoa 485acb 80. The pump is pumping and the lines are all clear. Any idea? I can find very little info. The only thing people talk about is an obstruction but that definitely is not the case.

@@bootsowen When I start a cycle it does the full drain of water in the machine. The pump and drain seem fine.

Start at the start. Is it plugged in? Is the fuse working or blown? Is it switched on? Is the cable damaged? Is the mains suppression capacitor damaged? Work through it to the point where it is broken. I’ll help if I can.

I paid about £4 for 2. You can get them on ebay, check the number on the triac and order a direct replacement and some heat transfer paste. I have posted a how to in another video. However, if your machine is working on some cycles then the symptoms are different and changing the triac shouldn't fix the problem. Have you googled the other causes of the e09 error? could it be the motor brushes?

i get the error code 9 coming up sometimes i tend to get away with just putting it on a different cycle i guess i will need to get it fixed but i am not paying some engineer to look at it and charge me the earth i might take a look myself looks a bit of a bugger getting the front off though

Hello mate did repairing the triac work as I'm having er09, when the drum goes sounds like it's gonna take off with a bad scratching sound

I have done this in another video, It was on a hotpoint, wma50 maybe? Have a search. I talked through how the relays work and how they reverse direction. let me know if you need more.

Hola maestro, me pasó lo mismo me tiraba e09 en programa de 14 minutos funcionaba, pero en otros programas fallaba cuando iba a iniciar el ciclo de centrifugado, ahora bien sí pongo el programa solo de centrifugado no falla. Le cambié el triac de motor y funciono correctamente pero a los 15 días comenzó la falla nuevamente. El tacómetro está bien cambié carbones revise las bobinas y está todo ok. Incluso hasta cambié motor ... Cuál será la falla? Lo que si no conseguí el triac original solo un reemplazo. Será esa la falla?

Maybe, or maybe some other little component on the board is damaged. A new PCB might be the answer.

Hola Juan, buenas noches!! Yo cambio el triac, funciona 15/20 días y vuelve a tirar error 9. Lo hice 3 veces, hoy volví a cambiar el triac pensando que iba a volver a funcionar y ya no. No cambie los carbones del motor todavía, esa prueba no la hice. Vos pudiste resolver el problema? Muchas gracias!
