Just tried this now and I want to thank you I cannot believe my dryer is working again. I was ready for ordering a new one when I came across this video

I got the E21 code again and I cleaned the condenser with no joy. So I opened up the back exactly like you did, put my finger in to reset the button and voila! My dryer is working again! Couldn't believe I did it! I tested it and the dryer had heat again! Amazing! And I was told that we would have to get an engineer out and find spares, therefore we might as well get a new dryer. Baloney! So glad I saw your video again. Thanks for saving our dryer.

One of the best trouble shooting videos I've ever seen. Simple and clear demonstration by the Expert from Diy Guy. I resolved the problem in 10 mins as told by Pete ? the expert. I don't know how to thank you. Probably if Pete comes to India on a visit, I'll be happy to host him. I saw some comments that this macine is bad. I would like to add one obervation from my side : Most of the tome we users don't read and follow the routine maintenance recommended by the vendors. For this machine, it is periodic cleaning of condenser apart from cleaning the filter after every cycle. If we don't do that, then the condenser gets choked, creating overheating and causing the actuation of overheat switch. Because, when i opened the macine after the fault it was like furnace. And when i opened the condenser it was chocked and i removed around 1/2 kg of lint. Once again thank you Diy Guy for all your excellent work. Best wishes from Ravi😊

1000x thank you !!! two kids including a newborn ... dryer decides to fail ... and my wife was about to go crazy... this also works on a candy smart pro the error does not flash, it scrolls instead on the display "error 21" amazing that there is absolutely no info about this on the user manual ... neither the error or that magic button... shame on you Candy

Just had the e21 code. First thing I do is google it which brought me to this video. Thank you very much. Dryer is working again as I write this. Also gave me an opportunity to clean that area out where the reset switch is as it was very dusty. Thanks again ❤

Thank you for the tutorial. With this I was also able to eliminate the error e21. I was already close to buying a new dryer.

It worked! I had no idea the condenser needs to be cleaned every 5 cycles. Rinsing didn't help but high pressure flushing cleared it out.

Well I'll be..I thought this was the end for my dryer. Then I find this video and I manage to fix it in less than 10 minutes! You sir is proof that not all heroes wear capes! Huge thank you!!

So grateful for this video after cleaning out the filter thingy it still was showing the error but after pressing the switch on the back it’s all up and running. Saved me buying a new dryer as we’ve only had it about 2 years

Thanks for this. Brilliant video. Fixed the problem. Would add a recommendation maybe to clean the area of the tumble dryer around where the condenser is housed - after removing the condenser. Mine was full of fluff etc so I cleaned that up as well. I have liked and subscribed thanks to this video 😌

I had this problem about two months ago and I followed the steps you showed on this video, and it worked a charm. Same thing has happened today with an E21 error. I was all confident until I hit the reset button, but alas, the button hadn't tripped. Looks like I'm in trouble this time😫

I have a Candy condenser dryer that has been making a thumping sound when drying. It's been making the sound from new and i thought it would eventually go away but it hasn't. Two years later I've decided to see if I can repair it so I took the lid off. What I saw was a dent in the front of the drum on the rim where it sits on the rollers. This was obviously done while in transport or at the factory. So this has totally put me off Candy so beware if your brand new dryer makes a thumping sound while drying You may have a serious problem.
