Take is slow at first. He may not have the palette and/or it may not agree with him. Start off with something simple like a little ground beef and rice.

Yep pups can start raw from the beginning.... and it certainly makes them nice and sleepy after 🤣

I use the raw goats milk. The powder form is sterile and all the nutrients destroyed/removed. I try not to use cows milk as canines are lactose intolerant

Hello and welcome! At this age, we feed about 4x spread out over the entire day. You may substitute one or two feedings with your raw. No need for snacks as not to make him over weight. You’re on the right path👌🏼🐾🙏🏼

TwelveTitans Kennels just fasted him a little to get rid of all the kibble from his digestive tract and for him to really be hungry. I gave him 1 egg, ground turkey, ground beef, and carrots.

Start adding a small amount of ground beef in their meals daily. Slowly increase the meat and decrease the dry. Stick with beef and maybe rice initially to test their palettes and get their digestive systems accustomed.

@@alvinjackson9077 egg shell are also a great source of calcium for strong bone and teeth, especially for older dogs.

I just give the shells to the adults and they eat them. With the extra supplements added, the white rice provides the extra starch

Her weight is fine. It's more important to look at their growth rate over time. If she is steadily gaining over time from her birth weight, she is on point.

I’ve used a damp washcloth so far to clean them up. Unless they are completely soiled for whatever reason, I wouldn’t submerge them in water (at least not here) because there is a chill in the air. Probably right before they go to their new homes in a few weeks

A raw week once a meal would be okay, just try to make sure it's balanced, especially since it's very important for pups to get fully balanced meals daily. I will note that some dogs cannot handle the changes between raw and processed so take it slow. It is common for dogs to be allergic to chicken, but it's a great source if they aren't (it's very available and affordable). Introduce only one protein at a time to be able to catch any allergic reactions. Eggs are a good supplement but I would look into also using other things to supplement, as to not overdose certain nutrients. Some great things to add could be some fish (herring, sardines, mackerel, etc.. please research), goat yogurt/kefir, or some raw cuts! I'd recommend doing some research into the topic is it's more complicated than just throwing some things in a bowl and calling it good. But the results will be worth the time spent researching. I would recommend Paws of Prey KZfaq channel. There are tons of info in short and digestable videos and also links other resources around her page. I realize this has gotten long 😅 Best of luck to you and your pup!

She goes into detail on multiple videos on calorie calculation, essential nutrients (and how to measure them) etc etc. Definitely a HUGE resource for my research!

Young pups I’ll feed no less than 4x per day. As they get older past 2 months, I’ll reduce it to 3x.

Lmao I'm a year late, but you can give it to them anytime! There's no reason dogs specifically shouldn't be able to start whole foods from a young age. There are a few things to consider, as a puppies nutritional requirements do change a lot and vary from adult dogs. But the moment they're ready to eat solid food is when they're ready to transition to raw :)
