Information please . How tall of a fence will I need? Can they clear an 8 ft? I have been doing research on the breed for 5 years, also looked into Borboels, Dogo, Gaurdian Livestock Dogs, Presa Canario. I would love to talk to you about purchasing 2, I'm even ok with adults. I would want to spend time for you to train me on their cues. Even tho I'm a 30 yr trainer - I don't know anywhere near everything😂 So I'm coachable, eager to learn. Put bulls aren't generally jumpers. Or diggers. I do cook for my dogs so recipies would be great too😊

I studied the breed and ultimately decided that I was the wrong owner for the breed. And i'm okay with that. They deserve the best and I couldn't guarantee that I had it in me to be the leader of a corso.

@@danamcmorris788 As long as you're honest with yourself that is what is important. I know plenty of people that purchase a dog that they can't handle and end up getting rid of the dog. I have always had dominant dogs my whole life. At the same time I always take the time if it's a new breed that I have never had before to learn them. I hope you find the pup that meets everything you would like in the future.👍

We love our Corso. He's wonderful, will play tug very carefully with my 52lb 8yr old daughter, even let her "win" and the next day will attempt to take down the 270lb guy in the bite suit. 100% he has been a ton of work to train, though (ongoing, daily and lots of cost involved). They are a huge lifetime commitment but wouldn't trade him for anything. Love that you have a takeback guarantee on your pups and seem to care deeply. You got my Subscription.

They are indeed the equivalent of raising a child to adulthood and then caring for a full grown man 😂 so this is not a breed for just anyone - they need a committed leader. But if you put in the work, the rewards are GREAT

Love your video and dogs. Just put my 9.5 years girl down in August. Cancer, sigh. She also cleaned her mouth after eating/drinking. I walk with 2 hiking sticks, she walked with a waist lead without any difficulty. Her only real problem was car sickness, within 10-15 minutes we had diarrhea and she looked like she was dying. My vet had her on everything but nothing worked unfortunately. If i were younger i would get another one but at 74 I don't think I'm able to handle a puppy again. Take care of yourself, your family, and all your fur and feather babies.

My CC is 6 months. Just when initial puppy phase is fading and foundation is well established, here comes adolescents! I know I haven't seen anything yet with my big beautiful boy. So thankful they did the right thing but so sad because these magnificent dogs bond deeply with their family. They are NOT for most people.

My 50yo niece fell in love with my Corso and wanted 2. I talked to my friend (the breeder) and he did have 2 for her. I drove the 2 dogs plus my 2 dogs from CA to Massachusetts and when I arrive, in less then 2 hours of being with the dogs she changed her mind and refused to keep them! I had no choice but to turn around and head back to CA in literally less then 24 hours rest. It was a really tough drive for an old lady (65) but the dogs could not have been better behaved. ❤️ her loss.

They are beautiful. We had a male corso who was the sweetest bear of a dog. He was a lot of work, but we were rewarded greatly for the effort. When he died, we got a female from the same breeder. She was completely different from the male. Sadly, we had to return her to the breeder when she was aggressive toward our son who was 3 at the time. We just couldn’t take the chance. I love what you are doing.

I seen a 12 Titan's daughter blue female for sale in uk it's sad that people dont take responsibility for a pet they chose to have, then not put the work in & then want to hand them off to someone else as a teenage corso who may have bad habits & being large breed its harder for new owners , praying she finds a loving forever home love & prayers from uk 🙏🇬🇧

5yrs ago i was new to the Cane Corso breed and let me tell you i was going to return my back to the breeder as well. Then i vented my frustration on a youtube video in the comment section. A lady responded to me and stated the 1st year is the most difficult with this breed but if i can get pass the 1st year the dog would reward me and boy was she right. I came from dealing with Rottweilers and thought i was going to try something that i assumed wouldn't shed and yeah right, but i'm glad i hung in there because he became my wife and i bestfriend.

I have recently been gifted with an 11 month old male brindle named Smokey. My daughter and her husband gave up on him and just kept him in his crate all the time. I knew before they bought him that it wasn't going to work. I asked for him this month ro try and save him. I used to raise Newfs and English Mastiffs. I will be honest, I thought he was a lost case, too prey focused to listen to humans/ last week was rough. Now he won me over, he wants to be in my pack and it was a lot due to my helper,Bud, my Blue Heeler. Smoky just needed that lesson that gave him a place in the family. Bud was getting knocked around and I told Bud it was Ok to attack back and 2 seconds later Smokey was standing there looking at Bud as if, WOW, you are serious. It woke Smoky up, he's smarter than I thought he was. That one correction from Bud has him more careful around all of us. Like Prince at Beckman's Dog Training

Facts! I would know because I was one of those people not in a terrible way like anger but I had a lot of anxiety issues and of course I didn't get corsos but I have multiple pitbull mixes. I got them one at a time thank God but having multiple same sex intact dogs without knowing what can happen at all! I loved them so much and had no clue that I was doing them such injustice. They were my "fur babies!". Until them "fur baby's" started trying to kill each other out of nowhere as far as I was concerned. Out of desperation and due to our very low budget that didn't have any room for training, I educating myself via KZfaq and several books and trial and error learning how to distinguish the BS from the good information. I watched a series from "taming the wild" to learn basic dog stuff because I wasn't raised with them. it was 365 videos for 365 days but, of course I had to make it in a lot shorter of a time frame along with many other channels that I learned to love. I didn't have that much time. But holy cow I learned a lot and somehow, only by the grace of God, things started to come together and it became a joy instead of a frenzied mess(sometimes still a mess just without fights). Now getting me back together and able to 100% control my anxiety is still a work in progress. However, I was able to get to a point where I can hold it together on the outside at least even if I'm anxious on the inside occasionally. Because of all of the situations that I endured through in the meantime, it also gave me some kind of immediately on setting,no matter what you do to stay calm, type of anxiety trigger when I hear sounds that resemble a dog fight. So that is a leftover side effect from my bad experiences. I have to be careful when it happens, that I am not doing anything to influence the pack. I'm hoping to be able to work through but for now I deal with it when it happens and I try to be as prepared as I can (because a really loud "HEY" comes barreling out of my mouth without my permission) that alone can make an already tense situation worse. I'm by far not perfect but I can control these dogs that I may not have had any right to get to begin with but, I already had them and I wasn't going to give up on them just for them to be euthanized in a shelter. so I put in work and time and I continue to do so.... I guess I'm still writing that story 🤪

@@pittymama4500 yes, if we try to fight their nature we stress them and make it worse, turn it into neurosis,but we have to set the tone. The same with taming ourselves. The more a breed has been selectively bred and used for a purpose, the more specific our reactions need to be. Harder to do with bully dogs. A pack is exponentially more layered and each scenario is different.

Absolutely love how you explained all that goes into producing these magnificent dogs. I think sometimes people underestimate the amount of work that a reputable breeder undertakes. Anyone looking to purchase any dog, especially a large one, needs to do their research. I got an American Akita puppy from my breeder this February at 8weeks old, and it was after waiting years and doing my homework. But just like you explained, the whole process takes A LOT of time and effort. New subscriber here, love the channel ❤

I have a Shep/Husky mix. She is such a sweetie. I had a friend to tell me she wanted a dog because of Nala's demeanor. I had to tell her that I spent a lot of time, money (training for me :) and doggie daycare), exercising every day, frequent trips to the dog park, and patience. I told her that if she was not willing to put in the work, please do not get a dog. Some people do not understand the commitment, love, time, and financial responsibility.

Many do not understand the time and effort you have to put in dealing with Cane Corsos. I commend you and your guy as well as the rest of your team or those that participate Cane Corso need a lot of training and love. "I wish I knew you I wouldn't mind volunteering in training giving them discipline I been a dog lover and training dogs my whole life". Love the work put in.

I have a Cane Corso female 2 years old now and she’s a trucker dog. She loves the road and being close to us. We had her since she was 8 weeks and since we have 38 acres of land she gets to run around when we go. I’m glad that they brought them back to a place where they will be genuinely cared for but people do need to understand what it takes to have a dog like this and plan in advance for when things change. Our plans always includes Mattie because she’s family like one of my kids. Now I want to find her a husband 😊

AMEN Erica, I love dogs' period, you must put in the work for their sake as well as yours. Over the years I've owned Saint Bernards. I know at this stage of my life I can no longer do what is necessary to take care of and supply the needs of these precious gifts (DOGS), like you, it chaps my hide when people do not put in the work to learn and understand the breed of dog they are wanting and getting. My first and only cane corso just turned 5 years old. He is a working ranch dog that does everything except duck when he heels cows . He's leaner than your corsos but he's probably got a busier schedule. Nice video and beautiful dog members of your family.

Erika, My heart broke in millions of pieces when I saw the video clip on the day that you and Greg received Audi back. 😢That’s so sad. I know that I am not able to have a Cane Corso because financially and room for the fur baby to run free. I would love to have a Cane Corso, but I do not have time to spend nor put in the work to train the Cane Corso. Everyone is not mold to have a Cane Corso. The breeder's role is screening potential owners. Especially for animals of the stature of a Cane Corso. That said, a breeder will be dealing with the human element, and that will forever come with twists and turns! And yes, a breeder should absolutely take back an animal, as both a lifelong committment to both animal and pet parent (cause as stated, life does happen)! No matter the endeavor, we can't guarantee our way out of chance. And, there is always the chance things will not go as planned, no matter how thorough the plan may be! ✊🏾💪🏾🙏🏾👍🏾

Hey Ericka! While I am glad they are returned to their breeder (you) and that you also honor your contract by taking them back (which is also very good), I truly dislike the "reasons" that some people state they cannot keep the pups. As you know...there is NOTHING I wouldn't do for my Corso Crew! Everyone LOVES Alessia and her temperament and I am so sorry that her returned condition was so poor (nervous and anxious) 😢😢😢. These dogs are an INVESTMENT...and I really hope that people understand that by watching this video. 😊

This is my 1st time visiting ur site. I'm an animal lover, I love them all! But ur dogs r gorgeous and it's easy to c how well u take care of ur dogs. So sad Audi got returned but, it was for the best. Because of the condition she was returned in. No physically abused but more like neglect, not trained. But, it's for the love of ur dogs that u have the return policy that u do. It would b all to easy for these powerful dogs to end up in the wrong hands. I'm a 68 yr old woman and wish I could live among ur dogs! That would b Heaven to me!! I had raised Yorkies, and I'm down to my last one. He's 15 1/2 yrs old, is completely blind, deaf ( 98%), and has Congestive Heart Failure. He's surprised everyone by living with this disease for almost 2 yrs now! I've been told they don't usually last this long, once they've been diagnosed. But, he's always been a tough guy, which he came out that way. I named him Scrappy-Doo, it was so fitting! He was the medium sized puppy but that dominant personality of his was evident from the start. My sister, who was Scrappy-Doo's littermate, also is blind, deaf and has glaucoma ( Scrappy-Doo also has glaucoma) but his brother doesn't have CHF, thank God!! Sadly, he doesn't like his own brother, Scrappy-Doo. It's too bad because they could b a comfort to each other. Sadly for Scrappy-Doo, he's not handling being an only dog well. He was so used to being a pack of 3, his dad, another brother and himself. They've all died off, leaving him all alone. But getting another dog right now isn't an option. I live in my 23 ft. RV, on my sister's property in the country. I've lived this way for over 4 yrs now and want to return to a normal apt but thanks to Covid, rents r astronomical now. An efficiency apt, which usually went for about $800. A month. But now goes for $1800. A month now. That's way more than I can afford but, I'm stuck!!! So, until I c where I move, getting more animals right now isn't an option. So, I've subscribed to ur channel. I've already enjoyed watching and listening to ur video , it's easy to c that u know what ur doing. Thanks for putting up with my long-winded text. I look forward to more new videos and also to view all of ur past ones. BTW, my name is Jeri G.

I hear you on the prepared part. I didnt get a working dog but I made sure I bought my condo in a 3 unit so all I needed was one person to agree to my Great Dane x French Mastiff. She's super mellow but I have to train and walk her daily and i send her on hikes twice a week cuz i want both me and the dog to be happy ❤

I think most buyers do some research, but they underestimate how hard a large breed dog will be. Maybe they see how calm your dogs are on video, and mistakenly assume the dog will just come that way (without training and socializing). Maybe the cost for training and vet bills are higher than expected. Maybe basic puppy behavior is more than they bargained for. Also people get terrified of taking dogs out until all vaccines are on board, and unfortunately, that can delay socialization and formal training. In the past, you had the puppy go home parties and families met one another and were able to be an additional resource to one another. I remember you sharing a video of two families that met up for a playdate. I think that was helpful to the families. Having another owner who might be able to suggest a vet, share tips about dealing with puppy behavior and training, or meet up so the pups could tire each other out. I honestly think people make a good faith decision with the intention of having a lifelong relationship with the new puppy, and the reality is very different than the dream. Without additional resources and support, people get overwhelmed. It doesn't help that people really abuse puppy buyers for buying from breeders, and will trash talk a pet owner whose largebeeed puppy is being a puppy in a public space. Ultimately, a pet owner can't know what owning a particular breed will be like until it's in their home. It is far better to have a breeder who will willingly take the puppy back, than to have the puppy seized because the owner is overwhelmed, and the community is afraid of the puppy.

The 3 babies I have right now I got them similar situations one is 16 and a half the other 2 are 15 years now. It’s not a 2 day commitment. Right now my bully mix (15) is incontinent and still loving life so I’m with him to the end of the line💕

I think this is a beautiful magnificent breed and I would absolutely love one…..not sure if I’m ready for one yet which is why I haven’t purchased one yet. I want to make sure I’m ready. All the Titan I have seen are beautiful dogs but it’s something about that Asha!!!!!!!! Love her so much.

I love my Cane Corso more than I love myself. I never loved any animal as much as my Jackie. I name my Canes after powerful Black women. I have Celie (color purple), Linzelle( a girl who helped me in school), Jackie is "from the show 227". JACKKKKKKKIE! Love your channel.

When you are in a business you need to accept the good times along with the bad times. One needs to be prepared for some disappointments along the way. This is part of life. Remember you never know when you are own family dynamics might change some day and you too will have to adjust and make difficult decisions. I am sure your contract saids like many breeders that you get first option if the family needs to give up the dog.

Much respect on how you handled the situation. I hope the other family takes good care of their current dogs. Dogs need structure. You can't just love them into obedience and confidence. I wonder why Audi was so very nervous when returned. Clearly the people needed training on managing dogs.
