With all respect to the promoters and fighters this press conference did not create the "buzz" and excitement necessary to go up against the Masvidal vs. Diaz deal. As a combat sports fan, I was torn between which of these two super events I was going to watch and support. As much as I know this fight will create "fireworks", I am now leaning toward watching Masvidal vs Diaz. Boxing does not, and should not, follow the UFC'S pre fight hype and glitter to make their events shine. But, they have to do a little better than this. Even the audience and media seemed "tired", the clapping had no energy and some of the Q & A was lethargic.

Lets go Kovalev!! Advice for Kovalev, in Vegas, don't drink or eat anything, have your own food and drinks brought in. Make sure Canelo has legal wraps and gloves. Don't trust anything Golden Boy or Hopkins tells you........when the fight starts, let your hands go, keep the power jab churning in his face all night........stay on Canelo's hip, use angles and never let him feel comfortable. Also, guard yourself at all times, high and low. Pull your trunks up to your nipples......Keep your chin tucked in, watch the little, quick uppercuts. The average height in Mexico is about 5'8 so of course there won't be many champs at the bigger divisions. Still, for Mexico to have over 150 champs by fighting in mostly the smaller divisions is quite impressive
