David Benavidez trainer and father reveals why son moved to 175lbs after being mandatory for Canelo "for three years".
"Canelo doesn't want to fight," he tells Title Sports Network's ‪@aliyahorozco‬ during an emotional interview where he also revealed he "wanted to quit" at times when training his son, but is also extremely proud of the man he has become.

"Name here" dosen't comprehend that the mandatory was in MARCH benavidez decided to sign a fight for 175 in February, which means he never intended to fight canelo and us clout chasing. Benavidez also decided to fight a tune up while canelo went straight for the titles against bivol....yet somehow canelo is scared and ducking, these people are clowns without any form of justification through actual facts.

Canelo wants the Bivol rematch at 175lb. But Honestly the fight with David Benavidez should’ve been made years ago with Canelo, now let’s see how things go with Beterbiev injured & Bivol not having a dancing partner June 1st. Benavidez Vs. Bivol could be made now after June 15th winning against “Gvoykz” & Beterbiev next when he comes back.
