The fact, Canelo learned to speak English based off watching tv and talking to friends, now add that to his ring IQ. Canelo reminds me of Manny Pac-Man when it comes to them mastering the English language; also as professionals, they prefer to let their hand speak for them in the ring. Like the rest of the commenters, Canelo speaking English has made him more accessible and marketable to a larger demographic, well done Canelo motivated enough to add English to his toolbox.

It’s interesting to note that even though this fight is billed (Undisputed Vs Undisputed) Canelo won’t be fighting for Jermell’s belts cuz he’s a champ at 154 & they’re fighting at 168. Jermell definitely fighting for Canelo’s belts tho… if Mell beats Canelo,he’ll become a two-time undisputed champ just like Crawfish. In fact, it’s almost the same exact scenario. I’m shocked more people ain’t talking about what’s at stake here 🤔
