Fimming and removing the bottom 1/3 (Lolly popping) work best got me. In Flower, remove large fan leaves day 21 and again on day 42. Good info!

I remove the huge fan leaves, the width of my hand or so from top to bottom because I want the light to get through to the bottom and up and down the colas. I have 5 huge colas held up by stakes and but I eventually stretched a mesh across to hold the all up. I had a wet spot on the floor of my tent which caused me to slip and fall into a plant. I damaged a branch low off of the main stem and thought it was finished, but I did what I could with plant ribbon to mend it and it has recovered nicely. Which kinda showed me these plants are easily manipulated for training/

Many different training options, but the end goal is the same... efficient use of available light.

I’d like to see a study on how a codominant meristem effects growth, and how the node at which they protrude wants to split open

i'm practicing with a bag of rando seeds. one i've totally dressed down to new colas and growth only, one i'm bushing out. that was a lot of stress so i'm thinking to wait 2 weeks to let her grow out again.

How does one consider day 21 for instance when cloning each crop? I’n this case I wouldn’t see a true day zero? Am I mistaken ? Thanks professor
@DeBaccoUniversity3 жыл бұрын
You can use 21 days from the day of clipping the cutting as a reference point.

When should you start pruning? I’m on week 3
@mikealclodfelter73402 жыл бұрын
Indoor hydro sativa btw
@DeBaccoUniversity2 жыл бұрын
Week 3 is typically when pruning should start, but often growers use node count more than a day (or week) count. Example for plant topping typically you want to wait until at least the 5th node with the 6th or 7th being more typical depending on ceiling height and strain being grown.
