I remove the huge fan leaves, the width of my hand or so from top to bottom because I want the light to get through to the bottom and up and down the colas. I have 5 huge colas held up by stakes and but I eventually stretched a mesh across to hold the all up. I had a wet spot on the floor of my tent which caused me to slip and fall into a plant. I damaged a branch low off of the main stem and thought it was finished, but I did what I could with plant ribbon to mend it and it has recovered nicely. Which kinda showed me these plants are easily manipulated for training/

A 100% rudiallis photo sensitive two foot tall zero percent CBD, zero percent THC would be worth much more in its own weight in gold as a foundation plant. As per changing the subject, formerly spoken shall proceed to speak of the subject at hand. I had found the opposite to be true. I had found the THC levels in the smaller leaves to be of exceptionally high potency in comparison to flowers. I hadn't grown anything since 1998 - 2003:] I and my other seven significant others of the eight corners of the cube space time continuum universe have found the existence of humanity to be of a type and sort that is totally lacking in all ability to cope with reality. It is best that we should always keep what we have within the pride. Seeing that the others are forever relegated to being stuck within a certain dimension of space and time, and are of such a sort of speed of light constant. Although we exist as something spoken to by us in the Beatitudes, we most certainly are not of the second Christ born in the manger. The true Christ was born in the land of the bright morning star, which is in the northern half of the spherical ball center of the earth, which is above the southern half, which contains the dungeons. And so it goes of a people brain washed on account of his majesties robots which outnumber the earthlings bazillions to one. It is obvious that we can not get along together. Oh, what a pity that, unlike us, you can not be part of the circle of life and be as we are, which are forever being turned into the soul of gravity. Ignore everything you have just heard. These are only the ramblings of an old foolish man. Ignorance is bliss.

1. Take the nutrient values from the fertilizer you are using and the number is a percentage so a 4-3-6 fertilizer has 4% N or 4kg of N per 100kg of fertilizer. 2. Yes of the plant material including stems and leaves 3. Correct

The plants need the N during Veg, but during flower they don't need much at all. They don't even need that much water. It's quality versus quantity when they are in flower. They use up the N pretty quickly in Veg stage, so as long as there aren't obvious signs of over fert then most plants will be fine to go through to flower. Dark green shiny leaves is N over fert. Deformed growth is a more severe sign.

Are those numbers for the valuation of Us market for 4 years and the UK per year wrong or backwards. I would think the US market is much greater today and in the future. It looks like the UK potential per year is 4 times that of the US in 4, more than that really as the pound is worth more than the dollar.

Thanks for sharing this. It's weird because when you learn about plants, you find that due to the complexity of biochemistry, there are no real rules as to what plants need to thrive, generally. Lots of plants will grow in just about any medium, some plants only grow on certain types of medium, but every plant has one which it can thrive in. This information goes to show the complexity of biosynthesis, and how little we understand about plants we feel very familiar with.

What's funny is that none of this is surprising or new. Cannabinoid spread should have been measured, as well. I was giving clones to people way back in the early 2000s, who took them and grew them indoors with chemical salts. They couldn't match my sun grown, organic product. They never matched my outdoor plants with their indoor plants. They would show me giant, swollen buds, and make superior noises, but when I handed them a joint, all the laughter ceased. Not only did I grow stronger medicine, but it had different smells and tastes. I gave them the same plant, grown in a way that allowed all the companion compounds to be created, allowing for the entourage effect, to make my plant much more medicinal. But try to tell that to someone who gets their growing information from their favorite online chemical salt grower. Current science is constrained to profitability margins. It cannot even admit that it is not up to replicating what Mother Nature can do. Humic soil is a 'magic' substance, according to modern soil science paid for by corporate interest, because it cannot replicate Glomalin given by the action of the Glomus species of fungus. Glomalin is the base substance that allows for the carbon of the dirt to become soil. It creates the environment for all the other forms of life in the soil. The Glomus species of fungus exists everywhere and literally will blow into your compost pile due to the wind. But chemical salts work by sterilizing the soil, and the fungus is killed with the companion bacteria and soil organisms, leaving an environment where only the nutrients dispensed to the soil are available for the plant. This grows seriously inferior plants, that look incredible until you test them. Same as with the Tomatoes in your supermarket. Delicious, home garden tomatoes - or tasteless bags of water - I know which you are getting at the grocery store... and I know why. I am not surprised. Corporate Cannabis is now a thing, so the science must skirt the truth for it's profit margin. But it still won't tell you the truth, leaving genuine people who would like to be sharing truth, sharing a twisted version of the truth that, in the end, deceives people. They get you when all you have is a 'little bit of knowledge'. They lead you like a bull with a nose ring.

I tend to take off the innermost flowering sites quite early on, it improves airflow in the canopy, the buds are never that good anyway and it always seems to be these sites that mould easiest. It does mean that you lose a little yield but it is only the fluff and you can be more confident that you'll get all of the big boys to harvest safely.

What a great vid. Excellent information, clearly presented. The reason you wait for the very oldest trichomes to turn amber is that it means that very few of the newest ones are immature. Amber trichomes are as undesirable as completely clear ones but if you harvest before there are any then there will be a great deal of immature resin on your buds.

Great study! Like your others. But I think it's half the truth. Fertilising cannabis consists of two parts: The first is nitrogen for growth and the second is phosphorus and potassium for flowering. So the final question is whether a higher growth rate of the leaves could result in bigger flowers or THC/CBD. May be it's a theme for a following study?
@DeBaccoUniversityКүн бұрын
In the highest N treatment the leaves and plants were bigger, but the cananbinoid concentrations were less.

Plants received 12-weeks of stated N levels for essentially the last 12-weeks of the growth cycle. See link in description for more details.

were the authors studying applied N throughout both veg and flower phases, or N through flower phase only? Old school advice had always been to stop supplemental N at flower phase... so I understand this study to confirm that advice. BUT - if high levels of N during veg phase are detrimental - the I missed that message here and will need to review the source. Thank you again for sharing these studies - I appreciate the value you have added to our understanding - and business!
