Nice guide man... I lived there for a number of magical years. No venture to Cannon Beach would be complete without a healthy browse at Jupiter's Books, a wondrous delve into Bill Steidel's fantastic world of art, topped off with a maple bar from Cheri's Cafe... Shortsands is a hidden gem.

I just had a'fetta for lunch and I can truly say it deserves top 50 in the nation. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth a visit!

I highly recommend staying at the bunny hotel, very close to the beach and has free unlimited movies cookies taffy and popcorn and tea coffee at the front desk, some rooms even have jacuzzi’s and pet friendly rooms, and it’s known for its name there are bunny’s roaming around the hotel and baby bunnies plus a nice pint in the middle of the hotel

Excellent video, Jackson. Another great place you could have mentioned was the Wine Shack. Steve is the owner and he’s made his store a great place to stop and relax, same as Sleepy Monk coffee. But please go real easy on the good stuff. Cannon Beach is becoming way too crowded, kind of like Yellowstone Nat’l Park. One of the best things about Beach is that it is kind of cozy; it doesn’t handle crowds well. On holiday weeks, it’s like a can of sardines: packed and icky.

I haven’t been there since summer of 2018 and I only stayed two nights. I immediately regretted my decision on the second day as I fell in love with the place and wanted to spend a whole week there but couldn’t find any vacancies. I hope to be able to go back there next year.

And I am aware of that, unfortunately I can’t do much, if you could flag their content for copyright infringement that would be amazing! It’s more frustrating as they clearly haven’t been to the Oregon coast as many of the shots of “Cannon Beach” were from all over the oregon coast, Astoria, Lincoln city etc… it’s weird. OMGoodness, what a nice comment! Just read it to my wife haha, and oh man I forgot about their wonky hours. Definitly go check out insomnia, the second best location (behind sea level) its right downtown with beach access and has more hours, I think still closed on Monday's but it is a great spot. You have absolutely nailed it with your video/info. I followed your advice on everything and it was amazing! Huuuge tip from you on when to visit places, like low tide for Haystack, early hours for Indian Beach then Ecola were extremely helpful. Pizza A'Fetta rocked, Falls on N side or Shorties were awesome, and the quietness of Indian Beach was incredible. I lived here in the 80’s. I loved it and miss it so much! There was something magical about CB back then, but now it’s a bit too yuppy/touristy for me, anyhow. It was more artsy/hippy then!

Low tides shift throughout the day, you can check the tide tables.. I like morning just because it will be quieter.. fewer people. Weather is great right now, it’s gorgeous!

Hi, I only have a single day to explore Astoria, Cannon Beach, Seaside etc. I'm not sure what to prioritize. Should I spend most of my time at Cannon Beach?

I'd definitely try to get in two towns, definitely cannon beach and explore some beaches, and then depending on the weather, Seaside or Astoria, have fun!

Haha - the best dispensaries in Cannon beach are in Seaside haha. I hear that Bahama buds is good (I don’t partake 😜)

Just barely reported it but it looks like for the copyright that would be on your end because you are the owner of that video. But I did report that fake as spam it’s crazy how they stole your video as well like even your film you took! So upsetting.

Also nothing beats a day at cannon Beach, and a night in Astoria, where you can visit the goonies house, go crabbing, see some seals 🦭 and stay at the holiday inn with the Columbia river bridge to Washington state right over your head. (A foreigners point of view) 😊

Then I’m going to commit treason, Pizza a Fetta wasn’t all that. It tasted like Tony’s frozen pizza. Go to your local store, buy that and if you like it, then that’s what you get at this pizza joint. Wouldn’t go back but was glad to say I tried it. 🤷🏽‍♂️

HOT take for sure, I mean you don't have to believe me.... I'm not a pizza expert, but pizza magazine and pizza connoisseurs consistently rank it in the top 40 of the US :) On a personal level, I'm bummed you didn't enjoy it, as that place is nostalgic and just a classic CB joint. Hope your trip was great otherwise!

If you don’t like it that is too bad but is is nothing like a frozen pizza. This is the best pizza I have had but to each their own.
