I used to build 500’ tall towers. One guy on the crew would bring a magazine to make paper airplanes. Some would just dive, others would fly quite a ways. Once in a while it would catch the air currents just right and fly for miles. You could just see a tiny reflection to know if was still in flight.

You mispronounced Abiqua. It's not Ah-bic-kwa, it should be more like Abby-kwa. Silver Falls State Park is another good place to go. There are 10 falls located on 24 miles of hiking trails. 4 of the 10 falls have trails that allow you to go behind the falls. South Falls is probably the easiest of them to get to.

I am always one to take constructive criticism... so thank you, that is good to know. That being said.... I sure hope you got far more out of that video beyond the fact that I mispronounced a word. It's a reasonable callout - the closest mo's from here is Seaside,.I worked at the one in Cannon Beach and as someone who was raised out here and has a decent pulse on seafood... I CANNOT recommend Mo's. They are turn-and-burn style, they care about getting you your food fast and getting you out the door, that combined witht heir locations and corporate structure makes it really hard to do fresh seafood. it's ALL frozen at Mo's. Also, I've served at many restaurants around town, the things I saw at Mo's don't make me feel comfortable eating there - I know it holds a special place in many peoples hearts, but for me... it makes my stomach turn.

I don't want to blow up this spot, but I will give you a hint... this waterfall is within a 30minute drive from where I was raised (which I have hinted and said directly in many of my videos)... that's all that I will say. it's a great question, so you can actually have two personal Alaska Airline credit cards open at once and you can earn the sign up bonus on the second so long as 24 months has passed since your previous, worth doing if an elevated bonus comes back!

Hey bud! Really enjoyed this video! We are in the process of planning a trip to Italy, super excited! We also live in Portland. 😎 I am an armature videographer, and I am trying to learn how to take better time lapses. What do you use to capture such amazing shots? I have a Go pro that does pretty well, but the curvature is distracting and the resolution isn't great. Also are there any drone restrictions in the areas you traveled? Thanks!
@JacksonMeyer3 күн бұрын
Hey thanks! Glad you got some inspo from the viddy & that's crazy, PDX kids. All good questions, as far as drones go you need to register with EASA and yes there are areas (lago di braies) that prohibit drones... that footage was from my friend, many places are so out in the open and not many people that I never saw any signs about it and I checked places ahead of time. As far as timelapses go, make sure you max your ISO at 200, turn sharpness down, Bit rate high, and get rid of that curvature by going to linear or narrow view, avoid wide or superview if you are wanting no curves.

Hello! Is it allowed to fly the drone in every location or did you need any authorization?

You have to take a quick acknowledgement test that you understand EASA rules and restrictions and then also understand the country's specific requirements. a small fee. I believe that I followed all the rules, and didn't fly at Lago di Braies as it was posted tp not fly there, but my friend had footage and so I used that. Thanks.

Excellent views of the inlets and coastal waters. Other than that to expensive and crowded. Better arrive with plenty of money. Surcharges are through the roof. I grew up along the Oregon coast and will not return. The ambiance and small town is history gone. A majority of the older classical homes are gone and it has become a tourist trap. And total commercial.
@JacksonMeyer29 күн бұрын
hmmm... I suppose you are entitled to your own opinion, but this isn't my mindset or experience at all. I agree many towns are crowded... but the human population is growing and not slowing down so that's to be expected. I don't know how you grow up somewhere so beautiful and claim that you "will not return". That's makes me sad, I hope you can muster the courage to return.The ambiance has waned in many areas, but in no way would I call any of the Oregon coast a tourist trap... that insinuates that price outweighs value. There are so many things to do in any OC town. Thank for the commet!
