In this video, I am over on the Welsh/English border to paddle a section of the river Severn with my good friends George, Rachel and of course Andy from Kent Survival.
We have three days to paddle from Welshpool to Shrewsbury, wild camping along the way and carrying all we need for the adventure in our canoes.
Day two starts with a hearty cooked breakfast before hitting the river again - a big paddling day as the river gains in size, joined by the river Vyrnwy and on towards Shrewsbury, our end goal, but not today.
Tried from the long day, we arrive at our camp spot for the night - a large island close to Montford Bridge. Setting up camp on a beach and enjoying a good few laughs around the fire with a slap up meal cooked by Andy - pasta and (Spanish) spam, followed by a comfortable nights sleep next to the trickling river.
Final episode coming soon.
I hope you enjoy the video.
Thanks for watching.

There is nothing so grand as the silence that is only broken by the sound of the paddle falling into and out of the water.
