Hi dear friend. Here is my issue. My 5d Miii don`t do the focus even mechanically throw the pentaprism. I ve tried with the lens in manual and isn t focus too. Beside, with the mirror up the focus is perfect straight to the sensor. I think that the trouble is with bouth mirrrors that are dephased in any way. There is any way to calibrate the mirrors?....P.D. The mirrors are firmly in those positions. Sorry about my english. Thanks and Merry Christmas

You definitely are very good at what you are doing and saying! Could you tell if the mirror box motor gear assembly for Canon 5D mark III is the same as mirror box motor gear assembly that is faulty in a Canon 5D Mark II (2)? (I only can find on aliexpress only parts for Canon 5D mark 3..) Thank you.

there are the same motor sir but the gear assembly is not same..the common problem you can encountered is the motor

Someone is selling to me a 5d mark 3 with err 20 in 200 usd, i want to buy it to fix it but i wanted to know if i can fix it just replacing the mirror box or should I do something else? Sorry my bad English.

Dear Sir, thank you a lot for this amazing video. Really good job. Can you please explain what you mean with aligning the image sensor to the mark ? We do not see very well the marks you did during unmounting. Thank you a lot !

you will not notice the mark i made sir because you can only see it by the microscope,the mark i make is before removing the image sensor ,the sensor is pushing up by the spring at the back of the sensor so you need to mark the clearance to avoid disalignment when installing the sensor...

hey great work. my motor works when i inject 4volts on to it but its not strong enough to turn the mirror mechanism. is this an issue with the mechanism or the motor? Cheers

reverse the supply of the motor when you test it..

@@techxian Yeah i tried that and the motor spins in either direction. but i just put everything back together and now im getting error 40 when i power it on.

there a short sensor in the shutter assembly..replace the shutter assembly or replace the damage sensor
