Canon EOS 5D Mark II Disassembly

This video shows the process of disassembling the 5D Mark II down to the mirror box assembly (including removal of CMOS sensor) to replace a bad mirror box stuck lever on the 2nd unit. The first half of the disassembly was a badly salt water damaged unit, but I could not complete disassembly because of seized screws.

Thank you so much for this tutorail, i have been change this small CR1616 battery because it was showing me some err02 on memory card and also when I change battery LP-E6 battery it reset date and time, now it is fixed :)

what do the screw codes in the attached document refer to? the Previous owner of my camera lost some screws and i'd like to replace them, but i cant find them if i search for the code.. also, my camera shorts out the battery all the time.. do you think it is the DC/DC board? mine is physically damaged on the right side towards the strap mount, i am guessing a replacement will do, but i'm not entirely sure if there is something inbetween the Battery compartment and the DC/DC board that could cause the short. thanks in advance! and thanks for the amazing documentation!

I intentionally speed up the video but upload it at 60fps. Run it at 1/4 speed if you want slower.

Please Sir Help⚠️ After thé replacement of the Motherboard of à 5D mk2 it shows a deep grey screen and nothing works😓 can you Help me please☝️

Were you able to get it fixed? My 5d II broke recently and the same thing. Grey screen, nothing works except for the shutter sound but does nothing and a rattling sound inside the camera

@@FarukKrasniqi Still no. :( I called Canon and they said it was out of service, they offered me a upgrade service instead to get their new models a little bit cheaper which I did not take.
