This was my dream camera when I started in photography. And the 1N RS... People should stop spending all of their money on A-1s and get these. Actually, they can leave these alone so they stay cheap.

I have the predecessor, the EOS1 with booster / battery grip. I've had it since new and it has never missed a beat. It has to be my all time favourite Canon camera. Matched with my 35-350mm L, it gives the biceps a great workout. Great video ...

Have it - Love it. My favourite thing to mention is "It goes 6fps, so it takes whooping 6 seconds on a 36-roll if you really want to burn cash." Also, love that they've tucked the drive mode-button behind a cover, so you don't do that by accident. Also, it helped me finally understand why my second DSLR (a used EOS 1Ds mkii) had a COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS two-button-interface to change ISO, which makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE on a digital camera - but slightly more on a film-camera with dx-coding 😅

I do a similar setup-Film body is a gripped A2e and then for digital I have an a72 with the Sigma MC-11 adapter. I love being able to shoot film with stabilized, autofocus lenses and I also love not paying Sony FE lens prices. It owns!!!

Just ordered one today for about 150 (including shipping). Can’t wait to test it out. Have some Canon EF lenses already from previous cameras I’ve own, so this gonna be fun. Have a Nikon F5, so I’m looking forward to see the difference!

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with a Canon EOS camera. Even though I main a Praktica LTL3, I love my copy of the Canon EOS 600, and my Sigma lens. Canon do make solid cameras

Looks more like a blue-cyan cast than a green cast, adding a bit of magenta-orange either when scanning or in post-processing would probably get it back to normal colours. Not saying you'd want to, I am all for creative effects, but it's a useful tip if your portrait shoot turns out like this and you want to avoid everyone looking like they are on the verge of puking lol

I didn't use this camera for 14 years and it made it sick! Electromagnet disease... 🙄 I followed the instructions of a KZfaq tuto, I tickled the magnet and the shutter works again, but the error keeps coming back from time to time. A professional camera built like a tank, but not so reliable it seems... 😔On the other hand, my 50e, 100 and 500n have well survived the passage of time. The 100 (Elan in the US), my favorite of all (almost pro without the weight and very quiet operation), still required a little delicate cleaning of the shutter blades with C-gasoline, the foams melting on it risking to damage it. But after that it still works perfectly! And almost as quietly... 🙂 By the way what made me reuse these cameras are the 40mm 2.8 STM pancake and some small rechargeable 2CR5 batteries... (except the 500n which originally has a more annoying battery, but is still quite light even with the grip & 4 normal batteries...)

Very late comment, but how similar would this be to the Canon Eos 10s? I understand you haven't gotten your hands on all cameras possible, but i like this weird in between of semi modern 35mm film cameras right before digitals got popular.

what film roll did you use?

They look just like Eterna 500T without a warming filter in daylight. It shouldn't amuse me as much as it does.. I totally did not shoot that film in those conditions for months. Not me, nothing to see here. And while I couldn't afford a 1N, y grabbed a 55 today. We'll see how it goes.
