You hit on my sore point. I have a full set of excellent MFT Cine Lenses. When I see the latest hype on the new Full Frame Cinema Cameras regardless of price, I have to step back since the cost of getting new Cine lenses is more than the camera itself. Then there is the other question, will they give me a significant improvement in image quality on my product? Usually the answer is NO. Adapters help soften the blow when you really need to make the move to a new Cinema Camera and mount system if there is a specific need to do so. Thanks for pursing this option for everyone. 👍👍👍

Yes Chris, I concur. It's a very expensive hobby/profession. Eosm users like to keep things on a budget so this will definitely soften the blow. I wish this could be done for more cameras but flange distance doesn't allow it.

@@Altcine Yes, this is why your extension pack and OLPF has found so much traction, it gave new life to my BMMCC OG and the images from it are hard to beat at any price point. Keep thinking out of the box and giving us things that allow us to use the tools we already have. Thanks for all you have done.

KZfaq algo is quick for a change, lets watch 😂 pff now I have to pause to share the eclipse video 😂😂 Great to see you extending practical camera life. Saves on good stuff going into garbage dumps.. and makes it more affordable to shoot footage How many in a production batch? Was the first loads fault with you or the manufacturer? Did you have to ask your grandma for an advance on your inheritance? 😂

@@Altcine I know, old stuff is great for starters at any age. My youngest son is 3 and his brother is 24. Helping my oldest to set up his business (and also indulging my gear love and train myself on modern equipment after 33 years 🤣) love that tax can be redeemed, makes the "hobby" more affordable, I also stopped smoking tobacco, that helped buy gear as well. Quiting is easy if the new goal is worth it. If I might inquire what age is your daughter? You are very welcome to take my time with quality work. And man do you deliver 👍

@@Altcine inheritance is what inspires rich white people to find ways to give everything to their kids before croaking to avoid taxes. For you and me it is probably the thing we don't know if it is a net plus or minus before accepting 🤔 I thought as much about the first prototype. I imagine they said they could mass produced but it turned out not to be that easy. It is always the part of taking something to market that I find less enjoyable. But I guess it is needed to make the rush of delivering perfect items more euphoric 😎

There's so many faves but I'd still choose the sirui nightwalkers. For many reasons I really like and enjoy using them.

Hi, thank you for all your awesome videos about ML and EOS M and your clear explanations. Do you know by any Chance if it is possible to shoot WITHOUT raw and 10bit, but with higher resolutions or high fps? So to have lighter files but still use ML’s awesome Features. Thank you

Hi and thank you. Yes you can disable raw shooting and still use the features. There used to be an option to increase bitrate...I think it's still there but I don't think it adds that much better image.

@@Altcine Thanks for your response! I tried many times to disable raw but it crashes all the time and sometimes it just records in mov 1080p 30fps as ML was disabled. Do you have a Solution for this?

@@c.eliakusche1929 If you disable raw then the camera can only shoot at its native max resolution. Have you tried different builds to avoid the crashing? There's 2 new builds of crop mood at the moment...one by Danne and the other by Bilal. If those don't work then you might have to go to a much older Danne build. The joys of magic lantern 😅

That's right. Tbh electronic lenses don't fit well for reasons explained in the video.

Sorry don’t understand. You mean that eos-m mount is the same than e mount? Or you just add on the eclipse an e mount?

Hi, this has nothing to do with Eclipse, I just used this opportunity to ask people to like and share my previous video. This is a replacement mount for the Eos-M that allows you to use canon & Sony lenses on canon Eos-M.
