Thanks Hank. I love this function for doing hand-held macro. It works best for me with a half press of the shutter button which I find easier because then I can use my thumb to hit the magnify button. It seems awkward to try and use this function if you have your thumb on the AF button and then need to also hit the magnify button at the same time. Of course, it’s much easier if your camera is on a tripod

Thanks hanks. Here is the way to use both servo and mf overwrite. You must set back button af and remove focus from the trigger. When you press AF ON you get servo af. And if you release AF ON then the MF ring works. Thant way one can alternate the two. Very useful for wildlife for example. Cheers.
