Canon Printer Wireless Setup How to connect to a Wi-Fi Network Router w/ 3 Methods (easy or painful)

Curious about your canon printer wireless setup? In this video we go over how to connect a canon printer to a wifi network. The first way we connect the canon printer to our wifi is we use the wps wifi button on our router and put the printer into connect mode. The second way we connect a cannon printer to our router is we use a phone to connect to the canon printer and pick our wireless ssid and type in the password. The third way we will be connecting a canon printer to our wifi router is via the manual input on the LCD. Canon wifi setup should complete after using one of these three methods.
We are using a canon pixma G4210 printer to connect to our wifi but it will work with any of the canon wireless printers that have the same LCD setup. This process or something very similar should work with setting up wifi on Canon Pixma MG series all in ones, Canon TR7020, Canon Selphy CP1300, Canon PIXMA TR4520, Canon TS6420, Canon IP8720 and many many more models.

I have had two canon printers and was glad when they left. Both were always difficult to use. Many times they invented a reason they could not print. Very frustrating. The canon eco tank model I just got rid of cost $400 three years ago and just died. The ink pads filled up and there is no fix available. I will never buy a canon product again! Junk really.

Hello Eric. Listen son, you are freaking brilliant. I have watched tutorials to set up my printer every time it goes out after lightning or power cuts. You are the first information sharer that gave it to me in a Chop Chop shortcut setup. God bless you. I am thankful. This time I left the darn thing for a month since I did not want to go reset it for an hour going through setting after setting. 5 minutes into your video and I am done and very happy. This should be included in the Canon link. It made it so simple it was ridiculous. I had almost returned the G7020 because the USB cable wouldn’t connect. I purchased a high speed cable and corrected that problem. I was not even going to attempt the WiFi connection until I found this instructional video. Thank you, thank you.

We have new AT&T internet equipment. The AT&T reps did everything they could to help me via phone; may as well had lunch with me! Cant thank you enough. I have spent hours on the phone with Tmobile, then them sending me to CAnon , and the call got dropped or they werent open. So frustrating! I had to connect manually but IT WORKED! THANK YOU FOR saving me any more time on the dang phone!

We just tested the 3 methods, on two different canon printers, you are SO CORRECT, it is the same or similar. Thanks so much. I started out trying all three methods, none of whish worked! But then I looked up how to use WPS on my TP-Link Router and found that the button should only be pushed for 1 second, not 5 secs as stated on the printer screen. That did the trick and now I am connected. Your tutorial is very clear and easy to follow!
