All footage shot on the Canon T5 (NOT the T5i) using the 18-55mm kit lens and the 75-300mm lens. Shot in 24 fps, with the shutter speed at 50 for proper film motion blur. Just random clips I shot and did some cinematic editing on, just to see how it would look. This was also edited in Final Cut. All footage shot in 1080p.
Sidenote: I did this JUST TO PROVE that it's not all about the camera. It's about the eye behind the camera. It's also about knowing how to get the best image with your camera (settings) also post-production plays a major role. So capture the best image/film you can, then edit the best way you can in post and you'll be surprised how great your stuff can come out, despite the camera you're using.

Enrike Guerrero in camera settings, the contrast all the way down, and the sharpness all the way down as well. Sharpening in post is way better than using any in camera sharpness. As far as post editing settings, it would be way too many to name. Lol

Robert Casey interesting how that works.. same with colors, better to mute them on camera & add in post makes it look more natural

Man, did you estabilized this on post? ive seen other T5 footage and this looks very stabilized

I did no stabilization. The only stabilization there was came from the lens. The lens has a built-in stabilizer. Also, on a couple of the shots, the camera was on a tripod.

@@davidmoralescasillas9893 One thing that everybody needs to understand is that it's really not the camera; it's who's behind the camera. It's the in the eye of the operator. The Canon T5 is not the best camera BY FAR, but most of what made this footage look good is what was done in post. If the original capture is right, then it'll make the work in post a lot easier. People need to really study the art of DSLR filmmaking and even study the camera they're using. Then get great tools for post.

@@davidmoralescasillas9893 It's gonna be tough, but it's worth a try. For the best cinematic shot in low light, set your frame rate to 24fps, and your shutter speed to 50. For your ISO, do not go above 1600, or you will get tons of grain. With those settings, you'll get the best image possible with that camera, especially in low light.

No. The Canon T5 doesn't have those capabilities. I put the settings in the description of the video. I tried to flatten the image as much as possible, so it would allow me to do more in post.
