You could get those closet humidifier with charcoal. To absorb moisture, they work well set two or three in there and they would help. Walmart sells them where the irons are.

Mr. Cool is the best units on the market and are good for any size home while using very little energy. Love these units and mine have been going strong for 7 years with no maintenance required. Happy Easter.

Just a suggestion, paint the outside of your container white or silver to reflect as mush summer heat as possible to assist with cooling and mold abatement

LOVE. the savings we have gained with our minisplit are nuts. here in wisconsin the minisplit has allowed us to save about 1k per year in heating oil costs as well as a unique solution to adding A/C to an older home without ducting!

Mini splits are easy to install and very energy efficient. With that unit right above your work station as you described, it will be nice in an uninsulated metal building in the summers heat. I don't know which DIY container building video I saw - maybe this one = but they put rigid insulation on the outside and then covered it with ship lap. Is that something that you have thought about doing. Hope it is not something you have already done elsewhere and I forgot.

Did you check out the EG4 mini split. They can run 100% on solar panels. Doesn’t even need AC power to them.
