Piero Manetta has been sitting behind the Canucks bench at Rogers Arena for two decades. Fans have long speculated about who he is, what he does, and why he looked right at home with guys like Odjick and Rypien. Hear Piero tell his own journey to Canucks' fame, how he gets stopped around town, and how he's become part of an ever-changing culture in Canucks club seats.

I sat with him back in 2007 and he was the nicest guy. He even traded seats with me so that I could be on TV. Stand up guy for sure. Forza Piero

Man, great to hear the story behind the legend. Next to the Green Men, perhaps this is the most legendary Canucks fan out there.

I thought I was the only one seeing this😀, I always liked his company because he always looked comfortable no matter what, but he also looks intimidating like someone in the mafia 😂, "This guy has connections".

Ah Piero is also a man of his word, Great to see Matt and Blake behind the bench tonight, and a fine game indeed.

Piero Stallone. Been wondering what this guys story was for a long time. Always speculated he was some kind of mafia boss.😂

He says he's just a working man which is true but still, those seats must cost a fair bit. I guess it is detectable

construction companies also make a SHIT load of money-i’d think his family is more than comfortable. I know a few who regularly net an avg of 500k+ / month after business costs. There’s a lot of money in vancouver if you can find it.

Soooooo wild I was just watching the Game tonight and this guy shows up on camera again and I think to myself, "fuck, this guy is always making his way on screen all the time, I wonder what his story is?" What are the odds the very first KZfaq video I see right after the game is this! Nice touch guys, props for finding something different but very interesting to talk about for once that's still Canucks focused and not just rumors. Been wanting for YEARS for talk shows/interviews to not just have the same conversations/questions day in and day out.

Wow, great interview. I was always so curious about him!!! And I was shocked how fast his kid grew up after not seeing them for a while, it was like I witnessed his kid grow up in front of my eyes.

It’s funny I just watched the Canucks game and I saw Blake behind the bench and I thought “hmm that’s usually where that guy always sits, maybe he and the guys from Sekeres and Price know each other?”. Well, I guess this interview explains it all lol. Also good job Blake for not picking your nose on camera

Trying to figure out who Torts made cry. There were no fins, let alone young fins on the team that year. on the team that year. It wouldn't have been a Swede since that was only Sedins and Henrik. For other non-north Americans, we've got Yannick (couldn't be him) and then Yannick Webber, Raphael Diaz, and Nick Jensen. I think it's almost certainly Jensen.
