Wow!!
We just hope that this video can do this amazing place justice. What you will see is not even 50% of what we actually seen or experienced!!
We could have easily spent a full week in Canyonlands had we had the supplies.
Canyonlands has dispersed camping, but you must obtain an overnight backcountry permit and reserve one of the 12-15 spots throughout the 330k plus acres of park.
We got to the park later than we had planned and let’s just say, traveling those roads at night is NOT recommended!!
We only seen one other vehicle during the 2 days over 100 miles in the park. It was amazing!!!
On Day 2 we wanted to see what the "White Rim Trail" had to offer and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint!
We are going to show you almost the entire 100 miles of the White Rim Trail and we think this trail was much scarier than ANY of the trails that we had coming up in Colorado but I'd love to hear what you thought about this trail.
By Day 3 we had started to realize that we may not have enough fuel to complete the whole trail and this situation was a little scarier than it would normally be because we had NO cell phone service and hadn't seen another human being the entire time we were in the park.
Hey but at least we still had about 4 days worth of food and water with us LOL!
BTW Here's the Amazon link for the AWESOME EZ-Pour spout that you see me using with your Rotopax: amzn.to/3MdEFA1

Absolutely fantastic video documentary of the White Rim Trail. The views and time you took to show folks what they are missing and what to expect. You did a great job, and many thanks for doing all the work and having a big time. Like some commented good to see regular folks just giving there all and blunt take on the trip. I just bought a Tacoma and hope the bride and I can make the same trip some day. Just found your channel, so I have to look at others Thanks again for allowing us to come along for the ride. BTW those out the window shots were crazy and terrifying.

Hey thanks so much for the kind words man! It’s hard to please people on KZfaq, and most people don’t watch our channel for the overlanding videos. They prefer short simple reviews so it’s great to get compliments on videos to take a lot more time to put together. You and your bride will be just fine, and it will be one of the most unforgettable experiences either of you have ever had!

Watched a couple videos b4 I got to this one. Was enjoying your raw style. Literally said “scary as shit” a second before she did on the night time shelf road in the the first ⛺️. I Had a laugh about that. But the second he said “my balls are stuck to my leg” I had to pause, subscribe, and switch to my mobile to write this. KEEP doing what your doing! It’s nice to hear and see regular ADULT non PC content! You two are bad ass’s.

I would had just pulled over off the trail and slept. It’s not like anyone is going to come out at night to verify you’re in your camping spot. Plus you could argue that it was safer to do this instead of having an issue where emergency personnel would be required to gather. Cool experience.

That would’ve definitely been the safer option but with that being said, that’s one of our best memories from the trip!

I have to ask. I've been off roading 20 +/- years. Why not set up csmp before dark? I've not bee out west (yet) but is boondocking roadside illegal out there?

There are only 12 legal spots to camp in Canyonlands National Park and you have to reserve them in advance so it is prohibited to camp in an unauthorized spot. We would've probably been fine to do so since we never saw anyone else but didn't want to risk it.
