in 6:44 why don't we include the values of RC into the equation? why do we just substitute the t= 1?

What if the resistor will reduce voltage ratio from 12V to 3 V. Will discharge characteristics look the same but flattered or to some point stabilised or? :)

Your charging current is almost instantly going from 0 to maximum peak current. That is ideal case, in practice you will have some time in microseconds till gets to the peak value, since there is reistance on the conductors and capacitive reaktance as well...

That means that during charging and discharging the the currents decays/decreases in both cases.??

I would just like to ask what is the e
@dankboy67442 жыл бұрын
no it absolutely is not. e is the natural log constant equal to 2.718... It is definitely NOT the value of an electron charge

1:51 why was there a difference in charge between the 2 plates, I thought that when we charged the capacitor fully the charge one the 2 plates were equal. Thanks

If I install a new "start" capistor on an induction motor... where does it get the power from to start the motor if the capistor was at zero power out of the box ?
@SeerManMan8 ай бұрын
From whatever power source it's plugged into, while the "Switch" is closed for the motor the capacitor can still be charged

What if the initial charge is 0V, then you can't use this formula

Too fast. I cannot follow you. When you said, "As you can see..." (1:00), no, I can't "see" that. Use a pointer and pace your explanation according to my ability to absorb what you are explaining. A pointer would help keep me focused on the part of the graph you want me to look at (instead of throwing three graphs up in front of me.) I could stop the video, study it until I understand it, but that is not why I am here. I have no idea how much time I would need to invest to achieve the desired level of understanding. Instead, I will leave this note and then move on to another video - hopefully one that explains the topic in a way I can understand it.

@@Zeus1s Yes. I could have sent milk and cookies. Why aren't you worried about being kind to all the viewers that got confused listening to this video?

You can give pearls to a swine and it wouldnt make a difference, listen to the full sentence will ya? And use your eyes to see that the charge to time graph is literally in front of you.
