Fabulous tutorial, as usual, Kevin! Your in-depth Capcut tutorial is great, too--but it is oriented toward editing on your phone. Love that this one is for PC! Please consider doing another Capcut tutorial for those of us who will be editing on PC. The original is great for figuring out WHAT Capcut can do (and getting excited about it) but the interfaces are sufficiently different that you are left trying to figure out HOW to do it!

Nice video Kevin. Capcut definitely to come up with more audio options. this is where they lack. There are tools available and the way they compress the audio is almost like a studio sound. Other than that CAPCUT is pretty awesome.

Absolutely brilliant Kevin - thank you SO much for this excellent tutorial - I've been struggling for 5 days to make my first ever video for social media using OBS and CapCut on my PC ... nightmare!! ... and I'm not happy with it at all - but now, after watching this tutorial I'm going to see what I can do to improve it by using these tips that I didn't even know existed on CapCut! Thanks Kevin for yet again another great tutorial on CapCut. Guess I can have a little more courage to show my face on my videos now by putting some effects on it. I always have issues trying to make it look natural but I think these effects are really good. Love the part where you put on lipstick lol. Cheers ❤

It's nice of you making this tutorial video. I've been using the movie maker in window 7, it's easy to use, and so far couldn't find a better one or with the same features to replace it. Do you have any recommendations? An easy one, able to trim and has transitions would be great. Thanks

I also find the old movie maker easiest to use. I do have shotcut and can work that well, but much faster for what I have to do in movie maker. However consider editing in movie maker and just bring the finished edited MM video into capcut and add your special effects and other things movie maker don't offer. Also both CC and MM only go up to 1080p so you won't really loose any quality.

@kevinstratvert Hi Kevin, does CapCut provide a direct option to maintain different aspect ratios for photos and videos within the same project? I'm creating a project with both photos and videos but the photos are all vertical (3:4 ratio) while the video attached to it is in 16:9. If within the player I set the video in 16:9 then the photos changes too. Any idea? Thanks

I've been using Capcut since I started my channel and I'm happy with it because of the many things I'm able to do with a free and beginner software. I wish Capcut included a tool to improve the quality of the audio, but overall I am happy with it! However, I would love a tutorial on how to reduce video editing time, because it's taking me forever right now !

You can always use something like Adobe Enhance (which is free) on the audio and then bring that into CapCut to get really solid sounding audio.

@@jadedunia yeah, I’m surprised that CapCut doesn’t have any AI for audio since they go so heavy on AI with video effects. It could be a good feature request.

Thank you! Do you know how to link an overlay footage to the main timeline? I put an overlay I want to be linked with a specific video clip, but if I delete a video clip earlier in the timeline, the timeline shifts but the overlay doesn’t shift, which means I have to realign it again. The same occurs with text and audio tracks :(. Thanks for your help!

Oh yes! The MS Store is an excellent recommendation! Would you also suggest I allow all Windows telemetry and do my taxes with Cortana? Nice Video! I played around a bit with "Titles". While it seems there are 1000 different templates and tweaks, I did not find a way to adjust font size individually within the templates. Or, perhaps I am missing something? Sure, you can drag the whole template larger, but no individual control of font size? Curious!

Do you know how to enlarge the timeline to make the contents larger? I mean to see a bigger video picture, not just "extend" the length of the timeline. I can not see the audio track as it is way tiny.

You are my go to source on things Microsoft or video/graphics related, but with the current privacy issues surrounding Bytedance, I have to wonder what your take is on both TikTok and CapCut and the potential for Chinese data collection. It seems to be a fairly hot topic on social media platforms.
